this is probably a dumb question, but what exactly do people entrust to wedding planners? pretty much all you have is your dress, makeup, decor (and stage and hall is usually done by same person) and then the food right? how hard could it be to do all this and even if you trust it to someone else, how do you know it'll be good unless you see it for yourself? i'm just confused about the concept..?

Recently I have attended my friends wedding ceremony in Karachi, The setup was awesome, and everything is synchronized with there unique theme.
The setup was managed by Marcopoloinn caterers and decorators
They are bit different; contact them for your events

I have recently take the quotes from Marcopoloinn Event Solution for my brothers wedding that is in January 2010,
They are bit cheap from other, they have 3 packages for there decoration setup that ranges from 175 perhead to 700 perhead.

I went to a wedding at the PAF museum a couple days ago.. it was organized by Zoreed Raza.. talk about lavish! It was OTT at least to my taste.. The canopy, the statues, the stages were all beautiful.. There was one huge stage with makeshift bridges at the sides, for the bride and groom.. And there were at least 4 other stages with sofas on them for the guests! They were at the sides of the tent. the only thing I didn’t like was the catering.. The food was good and all but the staff was slow in bringing out fresh food.. So the dishes were empty for a while after the guests attacked.. And I mean literally attacked! I guess loads of money don’t bring you good manners

Oh and some of the ‘decoration’ wasn’t very stable.. I think there shouldn’t be candles on every table. There was a tall structure on every table decorated with flowers and candles Small kids (babies who couldn’t be put anywhere except on the table) pulled on them and the candles almost fell over.. fire hazard!
And there were large vases on top of pillars. A guest bumped into one and the vase fell over! Almost on top of a little girl who was pulled out of the way just in time.
