hi mahismart,
her website has all the tel nos and as far as i remember every quotation was different and she is not more but not less we contacted other pple as well and thier charges were the same but only difference was that she gave us time and care and every penny was worth paying.atleast she spend waht she charged and we could see things.i have learned one thing that if yr menu is not very lavish then the cost comes down .try to give her yr menue aand she will let u know.
bye
sonali, I couldn't speak to zoreed herself even after ringing up many times. Her husband and brother spoke to me and told me that she'll ring back but ever did. I told them that we want a simple basic tasty menu (nothing fancy) with just some nice affordable decorations and they told me that the amount would still be higher than Rs 1000/- per head. I also said that an outdoor venue (unused flat plot) would work instead of a high-priced big hall. Since they haven't called back, I don't think that they are interested.
BTW, I heard that they have some special beauty treatments for the bride. Is that true?

They were extremely professional and the first visit was free and they gave a brochure and their CD. Further consultation would be provided with a fee of Rs: 2000 /- that would be adjusted somewhere else, too. They have interesting packages and offers.

Alisha I am in the same shoes as u are. I am not sure if I should get a wedding planner. But will check these website out. Did u figure out the venue. I am getting married end of dec too.
skymoona, alishat got married in Dec 2007 and my sister got married Dec 2008. I am just updating the info I collected when I was looking for photographers/venues/designers for my sister's marriage.
In my opinion, one should get a wedding planner. It makes life easier. From the list I met Kyran from Plan It and Eranda Bee people. Both were really curteous and agreed to work within my budget. BTW, Plan it budget weddings start from Rs 150, 000.
Thanks Mahismart. 150, 000 is not bad at all. I am willing to spend upto $4000 dollars if it makes my life easier. I will give all these planners a call and talk to them. Alot of you recommend zoreed raza of lacelebrators www shaadiarrangements.com.
Can someone send me a pic of her decorations. Just so I have an idea of her work.
Actually Zoreed Raza is the best of them all. I think she starts from Rs. 100 per head but her rates vary from decor to decor. She has gold line, silver line and signature lines in decor. The themes are little expensive as her stages start from Re. 30,000 to Rs. 300,000. You should check out her site for pics as I don’t think anybody would have them at hand. I think she also has a facebook Id. I’ll go find it out for you. I emailed her countless times before I gave up but I think she’ll get back to you on Facebook. If you don’t have facebook, then let me know I’ll send her the query from you.
Hey Guys,
Can you help me out as well? I am also going to Karachi in late Fall to get marry. The date is not fixed yet.
I have no idea about lawns or hotels? I am looking for some decent lawn or hotel not very expensive. I have heard about Sadabahar, Sadequain etc. but no idea about priceing. We will have around 400 guests.
Contact them for stage decoration on mayun, mehndim rukhsati and Valima with fresh flowers and waterfall stages. They also do gift packaging with seashells.
Both factions of the Rajputs provide chair-backs, table-covers and net for decoration in any color that the customer may demand, and have a wide variety of accessories for décor. Asia Tent House, though, is by far the most well-equipped decorator, and has lace marquees to exotic props, provided you have the money to pay for it.
