As far as Yasir Qadhi is concerned he used to be a salafi, in recent years he seems to have changed and become a traditionalist Sunni. Don’t know about nawasib. All I know is that in the past there used to be more tolerance for Shia rituals, I have even seen women from my family reading a book called pakbaz bibian (maybe during Muharram), can’t even think about that now.
