As for Sunnis, lets take Abu Bakr Alaihis Salam, in the Sahih, hoped for his father to be sacrificed for Imam Hassan Alaihis Salam! That’s a Sunni. I think the wording is may my father be sacrificed for you! You -means the dhat - the person of Hassan Alaihis Sallam because He was Grandson of RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaihi wa Ahlihi wa Sallam
