a) is zardosi lhr the same as zardozi khi?
b) also, could anyone share reviews regarding quality of work by Think Pink and Zarodozi?
c) Do they copy designs as well or alter what they have in store?
Just went to Zardozi outlet today in Karachi and the above dress was on display. It looked stunning on display. :jano: I was quoted Rs. 1 lac 15 thousand for it and just thought it was totally worth it.
BTW, they also had a 50% off rack. I didn’t see the outfits, though. The quality of the formals was really great, too. I think you can put it in the same category as Jabeen’s and Rinjhim when it comes to range and quality.
yeh, zardosi kaam isn't very delicate, hence the more reasonable prices. they use regular sized dabka and stuff, which is too big for my preference. but they can fill up a lengha without the prices going sky-high.
my sister's outfit had antique kaam, the kaam was just okay but i liked the overall look of the outfit.
In only downside and the reason I'm never going back is that the manager of the Lahore branch (and the workers) are SO rude.
So, stoppit, where would you put 'Zardozi' if we ask you to make a list of good wedding lehnga boutiques in Lahore.

I can only comment on Liberty as I always have limited time in Lahore. And with other non-designer boutiques, so I don't think you can compare designers with non-designer.
Rudeness aside, I would place it second after Aroosia. Aroosia is more expensive but the kaam is amazing; very intricate, nafees and with excellent finishing.
However, all the shops treated us with varying degrees of decency except in Zardosi. We went in three times in total, with the last being to pick up our order. To be honest, the first two trips should have been warning enough as both times ladies were arguing with them about not having outfits made on time and their attitude.
The salesmen weren't rude or anything at the Karachi outlet even though we looked at a few outfits and left without buying anything.
So, is any one considering Zardozi for their bridals?
i m considering Zardozi for the outfit posted on page 2...i asked a cousin to visit (lahore branch) n she was quoted 1.10lakh for it...my cousin stated that the outfit looks much better in person...but i dont like how busy it is in the middle...they cannot (or wont) change that :(
so let see...
I checked Zardosi for my bridal lehenga..The one which i liked there was of 75k but i left it and ordered my lehenga from 'Mayaar'
Disturb_angel, please post address of Mayaar.

rabia3983, that outfit does look much better in person. I won't change anything about the lehnga or the dupatta, though. I might want to change the shirt a bit. It is a beautiful outfit, nonetheless. :)

I ordered my wedding and mehndi dress from Zardozi last year and this year we did the same for my cousin. I think I did post my photo a while back in one of the threads.
