I agree! Such injuries are not only frustrating but can aggrevate mod swing when past pressure and future expectations are suddenly seen on the line.
I bet this present situation must have been a surprise to him as well,

If you don't know the answer ask anyone in Birmingham they will tell you, or better still ask the door man at the nightclubs from where a very drunk Pakistani fast bowler was thrown out. The day he puts Pakistan cricket team's interests before his own is the day I will stop criticizing him, till than no way. :)

shoaib even got drunk the night before the world cup match against india in 2003.when he went for 18 in his first over in that match he walked upto waqar younis and said' mujh say bowling nahi horahi my legs are shaking' and waqar took him off.

Yes that was our past.
Inzy hardly scored 18 runs in that tournament (6 games) as he was not ablr to concentrate on his game, for** untold reasons http://pak.cricinfo.com/link_to_database/PRODUCTS/BETTING/]**. Same can be said for Younis Khan and Mohammed Yousuf.

Yes not only has he been thrown out of the night clubs but also thrown out of the taxis on Broad Street as he was so drunk and no one wanted him in their vehicle...........I know this for a fact.

I have no idea what you said, but this altercation and the injury leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, especially because his attitude had seen such dramatic improvement in the last year and a half.

I do not see Shoaib as a problem, I used to because he used to perform below par during World Cup '03 and when you are among Wasim and Waqar for so long it is inexcuseable. Anyway, since England tour of Pakistan, he really has picked up his performance and all is dandy. Altough he pushes himself way too much thus gets injuired during the series. I never believed that he puts himself above the team.

Shoaib has an attitude and swager that is must for Pakistan. He gives Pakistan's bowling a lethal face that Sarfarz, Imran, Wasim, Aqib and Waqar did during their time, somone that can take wickets from thin air. Shoaib may not be on that elite class but he does his part to compliment it.

Guys, don't be so judgmental. Sports may aisa hota hay. Sometimes emotions run high and things can get out of control but good decent people are able to handle it just like Shoaib and Woolmer did. I saw both sitting next to each other after the fiasco. So, it's fine. PCB kau tau bahaana chaahyay apni chaudraahet kaa.
