…u know when i was lill and my mama used to go her maikay-susral …we had loadz of fun…i mean hoteling, outing kinda stuff everyday.
dad zayda khial rekhtay hain…in fact mujhay chai bhi dad nay sekhaee thee, and its more fun 
cuz hez also not good in cooking, and since he also dont know where all the masala’s are so her masalay ko check kerna…its fun

wow! This is such an unexpected & lovely thread 
My mom was a little strict at times but dad was always more lenient and there to rescue me in my trouble times:D So i was a dady’s girl and if ever wanted something all i had to do was to go like “dady can i have this” & the next moment it was there:phati: …wish i could go back in the time!
from this experience, i think its very important to have a strict parent because one would have hard time in fitting in this world if they’re used to getting eveyrthing they ever wanted.

Both. i dont know. i dont remember when i wa sa little kid but when i got older it was definitely mom. Dad was strict too..like he set hte rules and mom enforced them. but at the same time i was really spoiled by my parents.

As of now neither really but ofcourse even till now there are rules and regulations to be followed. But when we were younger we all were really in awe of our dad especially me. I still remember my dad didnt had to say anything to us but this one aankh ka ishara from him would tell us that we are doing something wrong lol.
Both of them were very particular about our education and manners. Infact, even till now my mami keeps saying that ours is the only home she has seen where everything was always so organised and well chartered out. We had our time-tables posted on fridge or some wall and we had specific time alloted for studies, tv and games. Mashallah, se we have had a great life and our parents never left any of our desire unfilled but at the same time made sure we were always well behaved, well manners and disciplined.
Nowadays when i see the kids even some of my familys kids we get shocked lol as to nowadays parents do no work on their kids.
