There is a HUGE difference in the situation. Lankans were supposed to bat slowly under pressure to save the match. What excuse our team had? pressure that they can actually win a test match by imposing themselves or the pressure of cementing your own positions? Apart from Hafeez and Misbah, NO ONE seemed to take the initiative.

Of course ideally our team should’ve scored like Australians at RR of 3.8-4.2 but if SL were unable to bat on ‘dead-pitch’ why take swords out for our batsmen, atleast they were able to score 500+
