Bridal Lehnga Shopping in Pindi/Isb???

Hi everyone,

i love the wedding section on GS, was just wondering if anyone could tell me the best places to shop for a bridal lehnga in Pindi, islamabad area???

Also, is there anyplace around Pindi/isb that i could get copies made of designer wedding lehngas?

any help would be much appreciated.

for originals: you've got rani emaan, maria b, n a version of "the designers" somewhere in islamabad

for copies or ready made lehngas: try mohsin n sons, fashion ka ghar, or one of the numerous shops in sadar or jinnah super.

i went to mohsins for my nikkah lehnga, for my evening party and bought another red suit from them for whn i was actually having my nikah done... altho i loved my suits the kaam is kacha-ish.... sequins falling off, i needed a lehnga within a few days so didnt have enough time to get it designed or anything, They did my lehnga and red suit within 10 days... i wouldnt have had it any other way but i know when i go back to get married ill look around alot more. Just thought id give u personal feed back

I bought my both lenghas from FkG
They have nice clothes...kaam is also very good...

thanks for the reviews lady_lama and iksa, thats quite disappointing abot mohsins though because last time i went pak i liked a few designs there.

So, how long does it take to get a lehnga made...or a desinger copy? i'll have 4 weeks.

mayb ur clothes came out like tht becoz they only had 10 days to make it?

I have ordered quite a few outfits from there (should get them soon inshALlah) hanif bhai got a sample made for one of my outfits, and trust me it was exactly like the picture no complaints what so ever. My uncle is very good friends with both the owners of M&S and FKG and I would of got a huge discount at FKG but I preferred the kaam at M&S so im quite surprised to hear u where not happy with ur outfit:(

My cousin was only in a pak for 10 days, and she managed to get 15 suits (heavy work) made from a place called "Rangeens" (something along those lines) the place is located on murree road. when u get to FKG, on the left hand side there is a galli go down tht galli and u should see it right at the end

^ hmm never thought of it that way.... true it myt of been coz of the 10days, i most likely would go back tho to look for clothes during my cousins wedding.. there prices were good and they gave us a good discount

^I googled M&S and this is what I got Mohsin Sons the site is way over priced and not all tht, and speaking from experience I wouldn’t trust online shopping

where abouts r u from? If ur from London I could recommend u a few really good places where I have got outfits made from.

I went to Mohsin and Sons for my sister's Baraat day. I have to admit the work is of a very high quality (hence their excellent reputation), but the neckline was extremely low. They did the same to my sister and my bhabi's clothes which was extremely embarrasing as running around on weddings with bra straps showing is highly off-putting!

Also, I really did not like their attitude to customers. They know very well that they are the best in town so treat their customers with little or no respect. These things also count!

I have only had one experience with Fashion Ka Ghar and that was back in 2002 for my brother's wedding. They were very professional and did the work well but my bhabi was not pleased with how long they took in getting the work done. She placed an order 3 months in advance and it took them a good 4 months to get it done.

Also, do not shop in Islamabad for wedding/formal clothes because it is now such an expensive city!

Saddar has some excellent stores.

If you had more time I would recommend going to Lahore instead!

i am a karachite ..living abroad will be going for my bro wedding in ISb just 2 week before ....will there be a good designer wear or good shops to shop nice dresses for shadi ....i heard shayan open her outlet in blue area
people tell me some store in pindi like fashion ghar and other i went one time there few year back ....they have typical work .....not stylish
don't know how they r now
