yeah thats what ive heard, but i dont think i'll be able to go to karachi or lahore because all my relatives live in islamabad, if i do manage to go it'll just be for a day or 2

hi sabah20 same thing happened to me my relatives r in rwp so i went there for my wedding shopping no other choice and fortunately one of my cousin took me to a home based designer she is really good she is from lahore so work style and quality is like u get in lahore she can work on ur budget so if u go there i will give u her number atleast go once if u like anything then u can always order she can also copy designer lehngas she is in pindi saddar

Shopping in pindi isnt bad for bridal..............Majority of my all cousins did all there wedding shopping from Fashion Ka Ghar and Khan Variety........

I hv spent more than 12 yrs of my life in rwp n i always loved shopping thr even thr r less options than karachi n lhr thr but still its very good.
For wedding dress: mohsin sons no. 1 on murree road, then fashion ka gher n khan variety on murree road. In saddar only Anum's is good.
Then for formal dresses: Heavy ones again mohsin sons, popular saree house on murree road,
Readymade dresses: China market, rabi centre n Rehmanjee in saddar(they r little expensiv but lovely).
For shoes: best choice is ECS
For handbags: Stylo is the best.
For jewellery: Sarafa bazar on murree road, thr Patiala jewelers no 1. or Ali jewellers
U can aslo go to Jinnah super Isb for the jewelry, thr u can find lovely bridal sets polki sets also available but at higher prices than rwp.
Thr r few dress designers in rwp/ isb also. 1-2 r in saddar above ECS. Sobia's in isb
Asa Sabah, im doing my wedding shopping at the moment from Isl/Rpindi my weddings end of december, just wanted to let u know that within 3weeks theres not many ppl who will have clothes ready if u order they might say we will do it within this time but they never do u atleast need 4 weeks especially with bridal lehngas. Best thing for u is to get ready made suits depending on u get them alternated 2 ur won size, Jinnah super in islamabad is the main shopping centre and its has so much variety of ready made clothes there r designer shops and boutiques, im sure u can find all the suits u need there, also theres a shop called Trendsetter in jinnah super aswell located in the basement they have really nice heavy and light kaam embroided or more fancy suits which are unstitched u can just buy them and get them stitched according to ur size thats what ive done, once u get to jinnah super u will be able 2 find all these shops urself there all located togeather in one big area. Another thing some1 here suggested u 2 get something made from sheetal boutique, i did that and they ruined my suits all the colour combinations were nearly wrong and the work was not done very neatly so plz find a better place than that shop, there are abour 20 plus shops all located togeather in chandni chowk muree road where u will find nice designs 4 wedding lehngas but try getting something which is already made as u have less time. Ive been living in pakistan for 3 and a ahalf years now and have never found and decent handbags so dont bother buying any from here.. if u have any other questions u can ask me, hope this helped x
as someone mentioned, patiala jewelers are great. they're pretty expensive, though. i've never been to their shop in sarafa bazaar but i've been to the one in blue area many times. it's at one end of blue area (the citi bank side).
Hi I would like to get my wedding dress from islamabad/pindi.
It would be helpful if anyone of u can suggest some good shops that sell ready made lehngas. I have heard of Mohsin (or Ahsin & Mohsin..I don't remember) and ppl said bridal outfits are beautiful in there but a bit pricey.
How about places where I can get my lehnga made or copied? I want some shops that do a nice and finished job.
