Hey guys, this is probably the wrong place to post, but does anyone else here find umar's brother Mohsin really annoying? The guy just irks me and thinks he is so good. And he inflates prices even when umar has said a different price already. Umar clothes r great (and very expensive) but he needs to get Mohsin out of his studio and back to his dayjob (a fashion writer supposedly, havnt seen any articles by him)

oh, my aunt just told me, umar sayeed's partywear starts at 20- and goes up, but you can get decent stuff for 27-30k....

Hello!
This is my first post! I will be getting married in Dec 2010 in Dubai inshallah and I really would like to get my bridal done from Umar Sayeed. Does anyone know how much time I need to book ? Do I need to travel to pakistan? And his price range? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I saw him a few weeks ago. There is no need to visit Pakistan as you can order via email or phone, however I think it would help to give you an idea of what you're exactly purchasing, especially if you're plannng to spend a lot of money.
I don't think he'll send you any pics and will probably refer you to his website/facebook group. You can email him you're measurements and then probably get a final fitting done once you're there?
I was told that placing an order for a bridal right now would take till April to complete. His price range starts at around 3 lakhs and will go anywhere from 8-12 lakhs for the heavier pieces you can see on his facebook group.

anyone have more recent partywear? i want to order some, but my aunt is saying the pictures i sent her (of the above hot pink ones) are last year's designs. i have the most recent Libas and Brides for You, but it didn't have anything good in it? maybe i'll just google it!

i was thinking of getting hold of his own personal email, where he might check it a bit more regularly. I have his brother Mohsins email, but i have herd that he gives out even higher prices then Umar ??
so i am a bit confused if i should contact Mohsin or wait till i get hold of Umars own email from somewhere.

Thats why i wanted to get in touch with Umar himself, as i remember reading on paklinks, that Mohsin does tend to give to high prices :(

Numbers are 5364441 and 5364442 with Karachi code preceeding. Call between 12 and 6. Try to get a hold of anyone else who works there besides Mohsin, Mohsin is just a major turd.

is this true that Umar does not meet anyone unless you have confirmed a order ?
I have been emailing with his brother,, and he is a turd..
he says that the only person i can speak to with regards to the outfits is him, and not Umar.
And they have a high nose problem these people.. have no idea whats going on in these so called designers minds..
You can just feel the attitude from a long distance,,
They have no such word as humbleness in their vocabulary. I cant deal with such people
