I've ordered directly from Umar Sayeed and they were fab! The order was just 2 days late..and the second time I ordered (wanted to wear it to a mehndi) he was kind enuff to send it to me 5 days earlier!

Gina - approximately how long does it take to get a suit from him? one month?
It took him 5 weeks to have it made, it was heavy..and 2 days to DHL it to me.
Gina - How involved is Umar Sayeed himself in the process? Do you meet with him at first and then deal with his people or is he involved the whole transaction?
He was involved throughout, he suggested the colors and kaam.. and then followed-up. It was himself calling me and updating me as well..

It's always good to have the designer involved himself and not the assistant manager kinda people. They're just horse and bull. I havent tried him yet, the only real designer Ive tried so far is maria b and karma. I ve tried bunch of different websites though!!

Theres this one white outfit of his that i looooovee and definately want to get made once i go to pakistan!
I absolutely love his work. I have not had personal experience yet. I inquired on kurtis once and they were very nice and quoted me 50,000 rupees each. As for the price range, I have only seen one wedding outfit quoted for $12,000 on his Facebook group.
