Too much on Meera

I have not watched any of her film or I have not watched much of her interviews but ,I feel,a thread thats on in cafe `Meeraji English thread’ is crossing all limits. How can you let this happen? Are all of us perfect people in this world? Why is she targeted with all these sarcasms and humiliations on a site like GS?

NB:-This is neither a complaint against that thread’s starter or it’s participants…

Re: Too much on Meera

meera is a trendsetter.

and her english-urdu actually known as "Meeraism". so dont be afraid, may be you also a part of it :D

Re: Too much on Meera

She is a public figure and people discuss public figure. That is the price they pay knowingly. And what I heard, its all over geo, so people are discussing geo shows.

Re: Too much on Meera

Interviewer: Meera, it seems like you have done well for yourself. Is it true that you are also getting offers from Bollywood now?

Meera: Yes, mashallah by the grace of Allah I have so many offers from Lollywood this year and a few from Bollywood too and God has been so kind towards me. At this stage of my career, I finally feel like the court is in my balls.

Meera from Lollywood CHASING THOUGHTS ….

Check out some of Meera’s famous interview statements below.

Meera: My favorite restaurant in the whole wide world is M C Donald (pronouncing the letters M & C of course) and I really enjoy eating the M C Burgers ever since it opened up in Pakistan.

Interviewer: Meera, you must be very proud of yourself for being one of the very few Lollywood actresses who is so highly qualified and educated.
Meera: Yes, mashallah by the grace of Allah I have completed my inter…course. …

I changed the word in bold.

Re: Too much on Meera

Arleitter , you have your heart in the right place if I may say so. The arrogance here is astounding. You did your part but don’t hold your breath for anyone else here to get it.

It’s interesting how these same people here in this thread, posted in another thread titled "Making fun of peoples English ". A few of them probably can be found posting in religion forum too. For them:

"O believers! Let no men laugh at other men who may perhaps be better than themselves; and let no woman laugh at another woman, who may perhaps be better than herself. Do not defame through sarcastic remarks about one another…(Al Hujurat 49:11)

Sorry, but you have your position in all the wrong place.

There is no reason she should even be trying to speak in English if she cannot.
These are the same people who these showbiz people wish to have good opinion about. Unfortunately their acts take them to other direction.

Quoting Quranic verse does not mean your argument is any better. Many people including non-Muslims are very well educated in Quranic verses and use them to make fun of Muslims in wrong context.

I am sure you could see, the verse is not meant for Meera. No one is judging her but her own words are.

Re: Too much on Meera

^Dude, whatever floats your boat. This thread should be closed.

Re: Too much on Meera

What's common between inzimam and meera?

Their English speaking skills

Re: Too much on Meera

^ lol. ironically their english is better than their urdu.

Dude, whatever float your boat. But please avoid bringing Quranic verse to try to gain some points.

Re: Too much on Meera

its not about English, its about trying to become what you are not and in the process making a clown out of yourselves. I am sure that tomorrow if I start acting like a religious scholar, you wont worry about putting me down in public (assuming that I am a public figure) and will make fun of me in one way or the other.
