my mom used to be an ob/gyn in pakistan, she has seen hundreds of young unmarried women trying to get on birthcontrol so they wont get pregnant, some would even try to see her for an abortion. and these are not even from upper class mainly, alot of lower middle class girls wearing a dupatta on their head would ask for abortion from her! i was just shocked when she told me this because if you look at those girls, you would never think they would even talk to a guy. again, im not saying thats how all pakistani girls are, all i am saying is that it’s IMPOSSIBLE to know how prevalent premarital sex is when its the most taboo subject, something that can ruin their lives if people find out, therefore no one will admit that they have done it or doing it. I also have plenty of female friends and cousins in pakistan(they range from middleclass or upper class) who would confide in me about their sex lives because they knew they could trust me and i wouldn’t judge them, and mainly so i could find out information about birth control from my mom for them so they don’t get knocked up. even a hijabi friend of mine, who wouldn’t even let anyone post a picture of her without a hijab on facebook, has had sex many times with her boyfriend before she had her nikah with him. **you would truly be surprised at how common this is amongst pakistani people, **and quite frankly, it’s just natural and everyone is responsible for their own actions, who are we to judge really?

And your proof is based on people you know or actually your mom knew. Because you are exempt from what the other poster is not? right? And the funniest part is tellingthe poster , girls won’t share their dating stories with you because you seem a bit judgmental kinda like maya khan. LOLz.

when did i say that ALL Muslims are bad? i made one vague generalized comment in another thread which I take back and realized was wrong. but even then i did not say ALL muslims?? and YOU are the one who generalized Pakistani men as beghairat, but it’s okay when you generalize?? please stop bringing my marriage in all the threads, when it has no relations to the topic.

Men who abuse are usually not the only ones to blame, its us women who let them treat us like this and get away with it. I have seen so many desi husbands who boss their wives, make their wives be a slave to him and his parents,wives having to put up with evil mother in laws and not allowed to talk back to his mother, making her cook for him and his family, and those women still stick to those beghairat husbands. its just sad how much pakistani women are willing to put up with. its not just physical abuse, but i think this kind of mental abuse is present in atleast 95% of pakistanis. so i do agree, majority of pakistani men are indeed beghairat to some extent.

entire post(from begairati thread) was interesting, but the bolded part stood out the most. So you finally got exact stats for something.

I am not denying the evils existing in our society . But wait wasn’t this thread about Desi Muslim Dating in West.
So how is it some people got hell bent on proving the dating scene and the rest in Pakistan. Why bella is so enthusiastic on proving that pakistani muslims girls, hijabi girls, date and are ready to cross all boundaries. And the self contradiction found in her own posts.
