Again you are wrong here.. Their Islam does not say that rape victims have to produce 4 witness… law in Pakistan is very clear about it.. you just need to increase your knowledge about Pakistan and Paki laws.
There was a huge uproar from maulvis which did prevent DNA testing from being applied to the rape cases. I am sorry but you are very misinformed. Please do a quick internet search. This is nothing new. Pakistan’s law has allowed DNA testing recently but I am not sure of that. IT is nothing new that most child rapes and abuse occur in madrassas. Have you come across the case of a 6-7 year old boy beaten to death by a madrassa maulvi, and the maulvi has been acquitted and is free of charge because he was forgiven by the parents. (Those parents were the ones who asked the maulvi to beat there child in teh first place.) The point is Pakistani legislation is seriously flawed. IF the parents or family members forgive the crime (under pressure, or maybe because they recieve some money or maybe because they didn’t really care about the abused victim in the first place) then our country gives no protection to such a victim.
Oh yes several times, what I found surprising was that the word hijab was not mentioned in the ayat where women are required to cover themselves by pulling a khimaar over their chests. Despite that hijab is often associated with being islamic and as a way of pleasing Allah.
I have read it twice with two different translations. But you cannot understand its total meaning unless read in Arabic. Translation usually gives the similar most meaning as per interpretation of translator.
You are not getting my point… What i am saying is… this “4 witness” thingy has never been a part of Pakistani law even when there was no DNA testing available… and no molvi has ever demanded 4 witness from rape victims… Blank statements like “their islam requires 4 witness” are incorrect. Yes you are right. My bad. I am not very well versed with Pakistan’s legislation, what I found appalling was how maulvis acted against DNA testing. I am still a bit unsure as I think I have certainly read many maulvis promoting 4 witness thing in rape cases, but I’ll have to confirm.
If LGBT is forbidden in EVERY religion, then EVERY religion is flawed. And EVERY religion needs reformation. Also, the expression yiu used was that support for LGBT was DISGUSTING. It is one thing to say something is forbidden. And another to say something is disgusting. For example, hypothetically, eating onions on a Wednesday may be forbidden per some religion. But if someone does eat onion on a Wednesday, surely it is not disgusting.
Moreover, there is no need to bring up someone’s past. It is up to that person to bring it up. Some here are members for more than 10 years. Surely we do not want to read every post of each member to find what they may have stated about their life and then use that as an argument. Now, if that person had talked about their past in THIS thread, it is fine to use that fact in whatever argument you are making.

4 witnesses are needed to implement hudood and is the requirement not of any molvi, but is clearly stated in Quran.

I was implying that even as he was doing such, he will get one of the best ranks in paradise, so no need to make it such a big issue. I was not implying that such is encouraged, or is a way to heaven.

as for your DNA argument as I have already stated it cannot be taken as the only evidence or the absolute evidence, and is insufficient to prosecute to give punishment.
