I don’t prefer either one…I don’t live in India and haven’t mentioned it even once here.
And yes, I can. Someone once thought it was a “good idea” so I can definitely call it a “bad one”.
I don’t generalize against just anyone of Pakistani descent…I am of Pakistani descent as well. I have made generalized statements against people who are LIVING there though, yes. I guess the more educated lot in Pakistan may not be so…narrow minded…but majority of the “fresh” ones I have met are.
For some reason, men who leave Pakistan snap out of it.
That’s a blatant lie. I did not know you are a liar too… If i can remember precisely, your post had this wording " let’s go back and join India".
And as for Pakistan being a “bad idea”… people of gujrat, Ahmedabad, muzafarnagar, kashmir would punch you in the face if you tell them this opinion of yours. They can’t eat beef, they can’t build mosques, they can’t perform religious rituals freely, they been living under fears… but nah… a US citizen thinks “Pakistan was a bad idea”.
I am sure you remember all sorts of wild, crazy things that make no sense You wouldn’t be PP if you were not a drama queen now, would you?
Anyway, I am not alone in thinking it was a bad idea…many people feel the same way. And there is nothing wrong with it. You can’t protect your women and oppose laws that protect them as well.
Pakistan was created to be able to practice religion without fear, wasn’t it? Ab vo to ho nahin raha hai to drama khatam kardein please.
Lol this reminds of those MQM people in Karachi that also hold this idea. We know what happened to their leaders quite recently. People who think like this in Pakistan should be worried about the army and ISI annihilating them
Guys one thing you can do and should do is stop attacking one another due to ones fundamentals and views, talk of the views and positions not individuals.
I dealt 2 business dealings in pakistan both big fraud lol talk of pakistan, sure there r good ppl, but the overall environment has made ppl psychologically unbalanced to quiet some degree. as if they r living in a war zone.. and the thinking is so short term ur heads will spin..
Thing is that it’s no longer just an “idea”, its more than that - it’s a freaking country twice the size of California with many inhabitants. I think for those of us that don’t live there or didn’t grow up there it’s easy to say break it up and give the land to india to devour but it is very personal to the people that actually live there or grew up there. Change comes with time, Segregation only ended cause the majority changed their attitude, you can’t expect Pakistan to push laws that would cause riots across the country especially considering the fact that almost two-thirds of Pakistanis live in the rural areas, it isn’t a very urbanized country. Also Pakistan isn’t any worse than any of the neighboring countries, you can’t tell us with a straight face that it’s worse for women than Iran, India, or any other middle eastern and south asian country? Most of these cultures are quite similar and are just as sexist towards women. Your “solution” is gonna cause more problems cause it isn’t practical, forcing another partition is gonna cause a lot more bloodshed than the one in 1947 cause the population is a lot higher, suggestions like yours aren’t steeped in reality and gladly most people don’t think like that’s a solution cause if you want what happened to Yugoslavia then I’d suggest you read more on it’s history. Also joining India isn’t gonna be much better, they have a Prime Minister that is worse than Trump and then there’s the whole kashmir occupation which is one of the biggest active genocides taking place right now. If you’re so keen on ending this “drama” lol then you should be the one on the ground when that partition happens and the civil war breaksout otherwise you’re no different than those neocons sitting here that thought partitioning the “British creation” of Iraq was a “great idea” - look what they made of it.
Lol PP don’t take it to the heart. There is absolutely nothing worth in those posts to take seriously, they are actually comical and sad. Why should some random ass person’s opinion who has never lived in Pakistan matter to you? Laugh it off, Cheers.
P.S. I think you should remove the personal remarks against the poster, it was completely uncalled for.
So this is your argument? That “everyone else does it, so why can’t we?” Great.
And again, I never said break up the country and give it back to India…that was something The Resident Drama Queen PP (what a nice name for him) came up with. I believe it never should have happened. Ab hogaya hai to bhugto. But the separation, the sacrifices made, the lives lost, the bloodshed and what is there to show for it?
That isn’t my argument lmao, I was just pointing out how Pakistanis aren’t more or less misogynistic than other people in the region thus breaking it up or selling it to india wouldn’t solve anything. Also calling PP a “Drama Queen” is sexist, it implies that women are dramatic and unreasonable. Its a term rooted in sexism, why not call him a “drama king” instead lol.
You consider it enchantment because I don’t shy away from talking about it. Why would I? Majority of women who don’t leave bad marriages stay because they are fearful of what lies ahead. I will never be the one to say it sucks. Because it doesn’t. I don’t want a woman to read my posts and think if she leaves her crappy situation that her life will end. It. Will. Not.
dude, don’t talk about rational arguments, history and logic…thats like gonna pass over the head…you are not the first to try…nor will you be the last…
