I lost 2 lbs. this week, Mash'Allah. Diet is still not there yet.
My goal is to lose 10lbs in next few months.
How can i join? and what do i need to do to become a part of this?

I got weighed again today and i've lost a kilo since last week (tuesday). i spoke to my dietician after 4 weeks, and after telling her im fasting etc, she sed tht my body has gone into semi-starvation mode thts y im losing weight this fast :\ and tht after ramadhan i may put sum of it bak on :(
I had a slice of chocolate cake on saturday and i had another slice today too :\
i didnt exercise over the weekend, but today i did 60 minz on the cross trainer.

so today was my 4th day...and i havent had any white bread...we went to Olive Garden and i didn't have bread sticks there...crazy i knw...but i love it :D

Been so bad.. We had some naan left over so have naughtily been eating that..
I haven't had any white sugar or crisps or white rice... so I guess I've been good there..
My weigh in is tomorrow but with no exercise at all.. I feel really fat...
Will start exercising even if it is on the wii fit..

I havent had any rice all week, dont have white bread neways.. so no bread. No white sugar.. oh sorry, i did have a lil this morning on my cereal... :(
Have lost a kilo... so quite thrilled.
Question, has anyone exceeded their daily calorie intake? Im finding it hard to even meet my daily calorie intake... for example, i dont think im even making the 1000 calorie mark. But I may be wrong... dunno.
Actually, do we know how many calories are in a cup of tea with skim milk and a sweetner (no sugar)?

Actually, do we know how many calories are in a cup of tea with skim milk and a sweetner (no sugar)?
life is too short and precious to be drinking tasteless tea with skimmed milk and sweetners... In addition since you are avoiding rice and bread (carbs), you are going the atkins route, almost. Not very healthy.
i) Sweeteners have aspartame, they might be 0 cals/0 carbs but they haven't been around long enough to rule out the threat of cancer. Secondly, sweeteners increase your craving for sugar, so next time when you have sugar unintentionally, trust your body to store all of that as fat! Sugar's natural, a little bit of it wont do any harm!
ii) You are barely saving 20-25 calories by using skimmed milk in a cup of tea, and compromising on the quality of tea. Why not just take a little 2-3 minute stroll around your back yard to burn it off rather than drinking a tasteless cup of tea with skimmed milk and sweeteners? Also keep in mind weight loss through exercise is the right way to go about it, NOT dieting, trust me. This calorie count diet is no good, it might have some short term results, but in the long run its counterproductive, mark my words. Eat everything (all the wonderful naimats God has given us), but watch the portions and introduce cardio to your life, that should be the correct way to go about it.

Spock, Ive been using skimmied milk for as long as i could remember. So i dont know what full-cream tea tastes like neways.... actually i do, and idont like the taste :) as for the sweetners.. ur right. I should avoid it. After the pack finishes, I shall

I had a multigrain slice with 1 tbsp PB - had a bowl of daal for supper and another one for dinner with a handful of rice in it. Had 3 cups of chai today and 6 triscuit crackers!
I have going to some dawats and eid has lot of food so I am starting again from tomorrow inshallah and I'll update what I am eating.:)
