SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

No degree is not required anymore but you cant submit fake degrees.

PS: Degree is required if you are applying for job but not if you are becoming an MNA/MPA

And that non requirement is ok, otherwise 95% of Pakistani people will never be qualified to be an MNA or MPA. That itself will be an educational feudalism

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

lol...yuN kaheN na k degree is NOT required so jaahil waderas can become MNA's or MPA's. :D

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

I am for at least 12 grades education requirement (not degree requirement). I do not want illiterates making the laws of Pakistan and deciding my fate

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

It was third KPK MPA of Fake group PTI with fake leadership , If the chairman is elected on fake declaration , no wrong with MPAs , And ticketing on family bases is now a party policy , It is wrong if others do but right for PTI .

Check this thread

People of Pakistan doesnt care about what Independent observers says

ECP screwed them not the independent observers

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

I am cutting and pasting from another thread of mine that I started few years ago

**Literacy (2008)
Total: 56.2
Male: 68.2
Female: 43.6
Primary: 87.3%
Secondary: 44%
Post Secondary: 4.7%

Is it fair to disqualify 95% of the population to ever take part in general elections? Is this democracy?**

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

You are crying for 95 percent? ... What about 99.999999 percent Pakistanis who could not even dream of becoming MNA or MPA? ... Well, they could not even dream of talking to MNAs or MPAs ... or considered by MNAs and MPAs as equal citizen to them ... as most MNAs and MPAs consider 99.999999 percent Pakistanis as Kammis and their slaves.

To be MNA and MPA is not right of anyone, but it is privilege position. They are not their because of their right or ability, but because people chose them to be there and represent them (well, in theory that should be the case).

People who become MNA and MPA are expected to do something for the people and country. Life, prosperity, opportunity, health, education and many things of whole nation depends on each and every MNA and MPA in parliament ... so people in these positions has to have some qualification and ability to be there, so that they can do what is expected from them.

Without some qualification requirement (as it is today), anghotha chapp gets into assemblies, whose only purpose in assembly is to do corruption, nepotism, spread abuses, misuse power, grab peoples' properties, grab nation's wealth, kidnap and rape innocent girls, kill who they want to, be above law, treat police as their goons, and give their voice to their mega corrupt boss sitting as Prime Minister, Minister, or opposition leader.

I know that people like Nawaz, Zardari and parties like PMLN, PPP, ANP, JUI ... or those who use illiterate anghotha chapp MNAs and MPAs to help them get into top posts and then loot and plunder the country would love to see these illiterate anghotha chapp as MNAs and MPAs ... who could not say but put mark of their anghotha where these political leaders want and wherever they want.

But, for the sake of Pakistan, prosperity of Pakistan, and people of Pakistan, this could not go on. Pakistan and Pakistani people simply could not afford illiterate Anghotha Chapp MNAs and MPAs. People who gets into parliament has to be educated and capable, that means at least graduate (and mentally sane) ... I think graduate with at least first class degree would do. :).

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

May be this will motivate people to get education. You wont disqualify them for “ever”. Literacy rate will increase and should be increased. Article 62 & 63 disqualifies almost 99% of the people anyway.

Also most likely its just .005 % of same people who take part in elections over and over again not the poor 95% who are not educated. This has gone for long but you cant just look the other side for all of yorlife.

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

There is no restriction of education now , These fake degrees challenged are those which they used in past .

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

You want to know those 95 percent Pakistani population … and who they are?

Here is a picture to show state of most Pakistanis: Now after looking at the picture, tell us, how many of them would get effected if graduation or even PhD would be criteria for contesting election, and how many of those shown below would benefit and thus would be contesting election if no education criteria would be there to contest election?

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

Anything correct there sir?

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

If majority of Pakistanis are day to day labourer … sleep hungry if he could not find work and have one meal if he can find one … as given below … then you think graduation degree to get to parliament would infringe him from contesting election?

And even by freak of a chance he do become MNA, then instead of putting down impression of his angotha on whatever papers others would ask him to do, is it possible that he would be able to do any good for Pakistan and Pakistani nation … so that their life, opportunity and well being becomes better?

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

Same members same wo!!

Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people. It's not government of the people, by the 5%, for the 95%.

If the poverty and illiteracy is an issue, then change the system of government from democracy to something else. Don't call it democracy, and still have the ruling privelages reserved for the elite class.

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

Pakistan’s language for laws is english and even if we move to urdu, you might still need education for that as not everyone’s mother language is urdu.

PS Btw, even america is not a basic democracy but a republic. It has happened few times with electoral voters going against who their voters voted for, but what about the electoral college for Presidential elections? Sure, it increases the power of small states like iowa but someone also said that it shows that the govt didn’t trust the voters completely so 51% is enough for all the college of a state to vote for a president.

PS2 America still doesn’t allow people in jail or even people who have done their time, especially felons, to vote. What is up with that?

I’d say that if it makes sense, then have an education requirement. We don’t want a rubber stamp parliament which has been the case in Pakistan for a long time.

Btw, just a side note. There is no education requirement in USA to become a congressman.

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

There always are prerequisites (such as age, residency requirements blah blah blah...) even in democracy and each democratic country has the process tailored to fit their need. Our need right now is to make at 12 grade education mandatory.

and as for USA, it has compulsory educations laws in place so its hard to find someone without 10/12 grades education anyway. As I said it has to fit your need.

So change the laws and make the education mandatory, but till that law is hundred percent implemented and results are achieved, remove the 12 grade requirement (if there is such requirement).

Btw, our country is not where it is because it was run by illiterates all this time. It’s because it was run by selfish and corrupt people all this time. You will find such people in every walk of life, be it educated or uneducated. Education no where guarantees ethics. Would you rather have a corrupt PhD, or primary pass ethical person as your lawmaker?

Re: SECOND Pti minister disqualified for fake degree

not now, but when the republic was made, it was only the land owning white people that were allowed to vote. These are generally educated considering how mexicans lost all the lands to americans after the mexican-american war because they didn't have written deeds (legal proof).
