If I had any doubts about your level of incomprehension, I don't have them anymore. I have too much class to call you names, but people might be forgiven if they thought you are a real moron. Would I call you moron? No. I don't know you that well. Your friends who know you probably do. Seems you get down to level of name calling and obscene language as soon as you have nothing to say, which seems all too often.

I just realise now that you may have been irritated at my advice to you to read because reading takes mental effort. I believe I asked you too much.

and wait while you are at it..... re write the history and change the birth place of jinnah to islamabad too

The starter of this thread expatobserver is an Indian... No sane Pakistani wants to be an Arab, we are Muslim and Arabs are our brothers but we're content with our own ethnic identity.

It is only you Indians who have confuzzled heads and seem to get religion and ethnicity all mixed up.

lalay that was done because the white chamri farangi couldn't pronounce those words, so they anglacized it. 50 years later, after the bhoot of gora raj was gone, did your government revert the the old old names. you know...pre-brit rule.

This is useless discussion. No need to change any names at all. Particularly, why to Arabs? Woh kia hamaray khalazaad hain? Ya phuphi kay puttar hain? Arabs call Paksitanis as "Maskeen", why should we honour them? Would any Arab country change their city name to Jinnah'abad etc? NO - they wont, so why should we ?

..and why do we need to even discuss these kinda non-issues when Pakistan is stuck in really really imp. issues. why wasting our energies on something thats not gonna help in resolving our issues.
have we reached our goals that were established a long long time ago. If we have then its fine. lets think of changing the names.

^^ That's right.. Ancient Vedic Hindus and Ancient Persians had very close links.. Sanskrit was very close as a language to Avestan (ancient persian language, language of Zorastriniasm) and hence there are strong linguistic similarities...

You don't necessarily have to change names to arabs names if that is a problem. Why not call Haripur Dengbad after Deng Xiaoping? After all China is Pakistan's best friend.

^ let me remind you that Pakistani belong to indian subcontinent not Arabian Peninsula ... as their forefather belonged to indian subcontinent. We are content with the names as it is.

We have countless places named after famous hindus and Sikh Gentlemen.
Namely Sir Ganga Ram, Dayaal Singh etc and some places named afther Englishmen, like Montgonmery Road, Aichison college etc, and also the main port of karachi is named after An Arab as Port Qasim ...

See these places have historical significance and affiliation. Whenever we see the need to change these name there would be good reason. and generally changed names are after Local personalities like Sir Syed, Haali , Iqbal. etc.

This is a good suggestion to change all names so that Hindu roots are erased. Similarly all people with hindu root should also be banned and exported. Only then can there be a pure Aryan race

^^ wtf? you dont name places after your best friend coutry whtvr.. city names usually have historical context and u shudnt change them for reasons that you are giving.. as i said bfore.. pakistan shud b proud of its vedic/hindu historical past.. it was the home (pakistan and india both) to great ancient civilization.. and just bcoz most pakistanis are muslims, it shud not mean that anything non-muslim shud b erased.. the greeks are christians now.. they dont follow the ancient greek religion.. but they still take pride in their ancient civilization don't they?

I think this debate is useless :D i'm going to leave ignorant fools alone
