Re: PC versus MAC

what is your need.
MAC is usually for intense graphic and multimedia application.

while PC is more easy to use and widely used by major businesses in US.

P.S. You are not in FB forum. correct. MAC (not the make up product)

My needs are not that huge…MS Office, quickbooks, photo editing, etc.

Do you notice a huge difference between PC and MAC?

I will now look at MacBook Air…was planning on spending only 800…watch me lose it! :frowning:

PC :chai:

Re: PC versus MAC

Reha based on what you need it for I'd say get a macbook.

Even though I'm EXTREMELY against macs, based on what you intend on using it for, macbooks would definetly be the way to go.

Have you used apple computers before?

Re: PC versus MAC

maccccccccccccccccc

Re: PC versus MAC

Re: PC versus MAC

So many mac groupies :bummer:

Re: PC versus MAC

Neverrrrrrrrrrrr used a mac before. So I will be brand spankin new to this.

I was worried about the size of the 13 being too small but I think it'll be better that way if its going to be ported around everywhere right?

Re: PC versus MAC

Will it be a too big of a change?

Re: PC versus MAC

Again, I hate macs so I don't know why I'm advocating for them.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The learning curve isn't all that steep. My brother and sister both have macbooks, sister has an Air. Both had no clue how to use them. Macs come with a first time tutorial and it teaches you all the basics. There isn't really too much more to it like a PC. The tutorial should be good to get you going.

I would recommend not getting an Air but. Even though we hardly use CD's nowadays, you never know when you might need to. My sister's Air dosen't have a CD drive but her's is a 13inch. Not sure about other sizes.

You should be fine, and learning new things is always a benefit :) Just be aware, its ALOT different to PCs.

Size 13 isn't too small. When you go to the store you can take a look and see if it looks/feels too small.

Re: PC versus MAC

Reha, Adobe photoshop and many other photo editing softwares are available on PC too. If you have extra money, you can buy mac, but according to your need, PC is sufficient.
