This has to be the worst, most ill prepared, and most tedious application form to fill in EVER, in my personal opinion. Scanning documents, taking ink impressions of applicants thumb... might as well go and fill the application at the consulate or embassy!

Yes, the present and permanent (Pakistani address) has been there all along. It was even there on the POC.

6 months still beats the nearly 1 year its been already :D and no signs of it

I have been waiting for my NICOP card for about a month or so. The only update on the online application status was "Data Entry Completed". On submitting an inquiry about my application, I was told that my application was approved by QOC (Quality Control).
Hoping to see more progress on the application...

I received my NICOP yesterday. It took about month and a half to get it. Not bad I think !

performance is patchy, I applied for 3 cards, 2 arrived within 2 weeks via dhl but 1 took about 6 weeks.
just got this message today when trying to access an ongoing application:
"NICOP/ POC Online Application Service is Closed Permanently."

No I don't know, but it's bad news. Now people will have to endure the "fantastic service" provided by Pakistani embassies around the world.

NADRA , PAK US EMBASSY, PAK RUSSIAN EMBASSY AND MANY OTHER WEBSITES DOES MENTION THAT FOREIGNER SPOUSES OF PAKISTANIS CAN APPLY FOR POC BUT PRACTICALLY WHEN MY FAMILY WENT TO NADRA OFFICE IN ISLAMABAD THEN THE GUY OVER THEIR TOLD THEM A STRANGE STORY AND SAID THAT ITS NOT POSSIBLE……..
PLEASE TELL ME WHATS THE REALITY?

IK81, yes its possible to get your wife POC, that's the whole purpose of that card. Foreign nationals can show that they have connections with Paki citizens and therefore they should get visa free entry.
I also know people whose kids were born abroad and they were even able to get NICOP cards (costs $65 cheaper), which pretty much means that they are Pakistani citizens too. And this is without any "Bay form" that we had to fill out before.
You are a little late, till a few months ago you could've applied online for these cards on NADRA's website and get it home delivered.

the stupid dumbass site never worked for us.
we filled out hte form and they kept saying we filled it out wrong
then they quit replying which made us think finally there was no prob.. we waited and waited. after 2 months we tracked the file and it said, file cancelled.
so we filled out again only to find out a week later the site had been shut down.

yes u r rite all people who are some how legally related to pakistan or to pakistanis are eligible to apply for POC but how to explain this to those NADRA officials who are sitting in Islamabad??
If on vacations I and my wife would go personally to pakistan then guide me out what to do? how to start this POC procedure for my foreigner wife?
as online application is already closed , so now what are the available options for me??

IK81, you just have to show proof that you are legally married to your wife. It could be your nikah-nama, your civil marriage cert., amended passport which shows you as her husband (if applicable) etc. If you don’t have the above you can take your wife to a court in Pakistan and get a marriage certificate there. Check the site for Eligibility:
