Its not about that, the propagandists are skipping the real work by just tweeting a word here and there making it sound like authentic, whereas if they were real journalist then they must write article(s) and provide their proofs in that instead of tweeting about it.... again, that is job of mohallay ki beejamalo khalas, not someone who claims to be a 'journalist' or 'analyst'.

Tax amount is not the key figure … Tax percentage of annual gross income … now that is the figure we need to see.
IK is worth about only 1/40th of NS … If their income is proportional to their worth then NS should be paying at least 40 times more tax than IK to be considered equal.

Nawaz Sharif paying more and more tax, Imran Khan less and less hence proven Imran Khan is a tax evader and Nawaz Sharif is honest and patriot, wow i have now seen it all.
Is Imran Khan running any businesses? Doesn't he spend most of his time on politics and collecting donations? It is a fact that Nawaz Sharif paid as little as few thousand Rs in tax for years when his earnings were in BILLIONS, his tax has jumped to millions very recently due to more media coverage but is still probably 1/10th of what he should be paying.
I can only feel pity for people who can question Imran Khan's tax payments at the same time defend how much Sharifs are paying.

arshad5 I think all in this thread have ignored the fact Imran Khan was Married to the one of the Rich Families of England, and he must be getting Alimony from his ex wife’s estate, which he does not have to declare in Pakistan at all!

As i mentioned in my previous post, which you must have skipped because of obvious reasons, PTI MNA Asad Umer tabled a bill to audit tax returns of ALL MNAs. The bill was co-signed by ALL PTI MNAs. It was opposed by ALL other parties.
Now you decide who has something to hide!
By the way, the exact same thing has happened in elections as well. PTI wanted an audit. EVeryone else didnt. Reasons are plain and simple. They have got a lot to hide.

Absolutely!! If PTI MNAs are tax evaders (which i believe some of them could be), they already expressed willingness to be probed by signing the bill presented by Asad Umar, why didn't other parties accept it?

If someone states that X person, paid X amount of tax per year, while having X amount of assets or X lifestyle, these are pretty much facts so there isn't much room for analysis. If you don't want to believe the statements then you need to provide reasons why.

So that means they are innocent and not guilty? So if PML (N) signed such a bill would that make them innocent of tax evasion?
