This is gross exaggeration. His father had one factory at the time of partition! Look at Sharif family assets before joining politics and now
Yes father had one small factory which he set up in 1939 as I have mentioned so where is the exaggeration? 42 years ago refers to 1972. By 1972 they had expanded it to be a formidable business in order for it to have been nationalised by Zulfikar Bhutto. After nationalisation they left Pakistan and set up business elsewhere in the world until after the removal of Bhutto, when they returned back to Pakistan. If you had millions in 1970's now they would be billions just due to compounding, without any special skill being required.

Meaning 82% don’t even pay taxes. !8% that pay taxes pay less than their lifestyles suggest.

Plus I believe his children attend a private school in the UK.

A case of under-declaring income? 2.2m is probably not even enough to cover the running expenses.

PTI’s Asad Umer tabled a bill calling for an audit of all MNA’s tax returns, and it was supported by all in PTI. Guess the list of the parties that opposed it?
As for Umer Cheema, the guy is an employee of a media house that has made a living out of rubbish. He perhaps needs an accounting dictionary to understand the difference between revenue and income. Perhaps you can benefit from the same. Difference between revenue and income.

^ I have seen previous exchanges between cheema and Alvi on the matter. Cheemak brings out the same thing time and again. If cheemak thinks that Alvi is lying maybe he should go knock the judiciary or maybe do a research and write an article in his paper.

Nawaz or Imran, I care less. Only thing i know is that i paid more tax (in 1997 at my first job ) than many of the parliamentarians who travel in Parados and Land Cruisers when I did not even have a bike then.
