I read if It goes above belly button and ends around ribs than its a boy… Who knows. It’s all old wives tales.

i've also had this dark line when i was expecting a BOY!
but i havent heard that its because we're having a boy....
i heard about few other things....
if u throw alot its a girl n if not then its a boy....
if u have acne then its a girl if not then boy....
i didnt throw up n didnt have acne....
there were others too i dont remember....
but i know so many people having acne n throwing up in their first trimester n they have a baby boy too...

Lol. Old wives tales are fun. There are more like:
If you crave for sweets more, its a boy
If it starts to move late and lazy, its a boy
If your neck darkens, its a boy
If you have lots of waist ache its a girl
If you take right foot first, its a girl
and so on…
Now each one cal tell according to their own observations and experiences

i guess these signs are related to the women's age as well.
my friend craved sweets stuff methaiyan and cakes.she had a boy.she was 20.
my mami also craved sweet stuffs she had a girl .she was 26 or 27

Everything and yes I mean everything including my instinct said it was a girl but we have a boy!
I threw up nonstop for 17 weeks!
I didnt crave sweet stuff until the very last few weeks of pregnancy!
I liked orange juice!
I didnt have that bellybutton line!
I have had an outbreak of acne even though I never had acne in my life before!
the chinese calendar said it's a girl!
the baking soda test it's a girl!
I had a dream that it's a boy and it was a boy!! :-)

My mom thought she was having boys even decided on boy names... unfortunately (or fortunately) she has 2 daughters :P
Is it just me? because I find old wives tales funny but at the same time interesting.

I had mostly boy indications lol and I even had a dream of having a baby boy a week before I found out I was pregnant. There's something about carrying high = boy and carrying low = girl... every time I go out to places old ladies always ask.."are you having a boy?" and im like yeah, and they always mention the carrying high thing.

All these old wives tales are untrue. Everyone was telling me I was having a boy. According to the old wives tales everything was pointing to a boy but I had a girl :D

When my mom had her U/S when she was preggers with my older sis. The doctor told her it’s a boy. They picked out a boys name, bought all blue stuff and she ended up being a girl

yah but that was the doctors fault. I don't think my mom wanted to know the gender.
Question to pregnant moms do you want to know your babys gender? My SO doesn't want to and wants it to be a surprise. I'm half and half on this issue.

NB size diapers hardly get used,or so I think.My daughter was tiny when she was born but she started wearing size 1 in I think 2 weeks after she was born. She went through sizes NB,1,2,3,4 and 5 very quickly and was wearing size 5 by her 1st BD.She wore for them for a year.
I would suggest never to stock up on diapers..!
newborn diapers go up to 7 lbs only, so chances are that your kid will either never wear them, or wear them only briefly.
my kid was the same- he never wore the newborn diapers, and by the time he hit 11 months mA, he was in size 6 diapers and has been since then. i think as their growth slows down past 1, compared to how quickly they grow in their first year, it gets easier to stock up ahead of time but definitely not in the first year.

for the first one, i wanted to, but my husband really didn't, and it meant more to him not to know than it did to me TO know, so we ended up keeping it a surprise. nonetheless, every.single.person who saw me whilst pregnant was convinced it was a boy, to the extent that a lot of my baby shower gifts were "boy" coloured! turns out they were right!
next baby iA, i'm definitely finding out. gotta prepare if its a girl!

I need to know the gender. I can't imagine not knowing. I need to do my shopping :D We found out with our first and will do it with this one too. Can't wait!!

ok I am not pregnant right now but we had a debate on this one!
I wanted to know.. I wanted to know the day I got bfp! HUbby was okay with not knowing but the planner in me had to know.. we found out at our 20th week scan and shared with everyone! For the next one, iA we will find out but I dont plan to share it with everyone..because apparently thats the new trend :D

^ Love it!! I wanted to do the cake/cupcake reveal but people just laughed at that idea 
What I will do is have the doctor write it down on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. I’d love for husband and I to drive up to the boardwalk looking over NYC (we used to live right there before) and open the envelope right there, on the boardwalk.
It’s a very special place for both of us as we used to take looong walks there as newlyweds
