Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

So........Do Pak still have a chance to stay in competition or are they packing their bags...........

they must have to win the remaining both games to go through the semis

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

Must win next matches and then pray

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

ya Pray is necessary coz the way our boys r playing they really need some :omg:

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

I think…its still not too late…if the captainship(the very next match) is transferred to Abdur Razzaq..so Pakistan still can make a chance to reach the semis… :jhanda:

n what will Razzaq do …

Transferring captaincy to somebody else won’t help, specially in the middle of world series

Pakistan has to re-think there batting line up, they need to plan their innings as per the changes happening on the ground, i suggest, send Fawad Alam one down, followed by Misbah and Umer Akmal, Afridi and Razaq..

Lets play with 3 pacers and two spinners… change the bowlers more often…

exactly the samething afridi is doing

loose matches for Pakistan

even i can do that

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

I am sure…Razzaq will lead Pakistan better than Afridi at this time… :jhanda:

I guess Razzaq has other kind of mindset than Afridi at the moment…

I said that I supported him for a short period, what's so unfair about that, what others did is not of concern to me, but I did stop the support after he behaved in an unacceptable manner during that ball biting incident. So don't try this "everyone only supported him for that short period". You couldnt stop praising him even after the ball biting incident and thought he was the best thing since sliced bread. I dont have tunnel vision to just look at one thing only. The fact that he bit the ball told me he was not captain material. A guy who bites a ball in front of millions of people and thinks he could get away with it does not have much of an astute thinking brain. Maybe that point is not clear to many but it show here with **all **the concerns expressed. I think you are still smarting from that captaincy arguments. have it your way, this is the last I will be saying on the matter. even if he danced and bit the ball again you will still be in the front row to get him another Pride of performance.

Where did I say that?

u said it in ur previous post

Can you underline where I said I won't support the team.

I didnt say that was the unfair bit..

Point is that the 'short' period's beginning is pretty much the same for everyone... so its not that relevant. for some the period ended with the ball biting thats all.

thats not really true is it?

Perhaps that is the case, but you really did not express these broader, non-tunnel vision concerns back then, even though you posted quite a bit in that thread. You were concerned about trusting him not to cheat. You were concerned about setting examples. What you werent concerned about is whether or not he'd make the right bowling changes. At the very least you didnt say so, but forgive me for neglecting to think you were holding such concerns about his bowling changes privately.

Read your posts again that thread.

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

the only points i remember making in that thread are variants of

a) he was the best candidate for captaincy amongst the options polled
b) he had been punished by the ICC and PCB, and so it went against historical precedence to further penalize him by denying him captaincy on this basis alone.

not quite the same as saying he was the best thing since sliced bread.

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England

well... nice idea to support a team having brainless chicken... oops i mean captain

** kidding **

Re: May 6, 2010 - World T20 - Pakistan v England
