So, I had a bit of time today and decided to make a spreadsheet of my makeup stash. Okay, so I know many of you guys think I am a bit cuh-razy and OTT with my makeup habit and ways BUT makeup artists do this as well for insurance purposes so if anything happens to their makeup (gets damaged or stolen), they can report and file a claim. That’s where I got the idea from and I’m not a makeup artist but still have a growing collection. And I did a bit of research and a lot of other people seem to do it as well.
Here is mine, I just started it today and I’m not done as you’ll notice from the blank spaces etc but I thought I’d share what I have done so far. @Reha , I think you should make one when you have some free time, esp. since you’re starting as a makeup artist:
p.s. The items highlighted in that yellowish color are stuff I’m getting rid of or have put it away to give away/swap etc. I’ll be finishing this up in the coming days. Let me know what you guys think and whether you’d ever start one or possibly have one.

That is so awesome! It would take me like a year to make that for all the makeup I have, but I really want to so I'll look into it. Thanks for the idea!

You are amazing... I am in the process of making a spreadsheet for my home and pantry items. Love this... :) I love that GS has so many amazing ppl with some awesome quirks. I feel at home...lol

It's a good idea to keep track of things you use a lot and if you'd need to replace them, so you have the right shades/brand etc, but I'd be too lazy to update it. I have too much make up lying around in 10 billion places too which I can't be asked to put together.
But good luck with it, I'd probly need it most for the amount of leepsticks I have, maybe I'll do one If I ever get my lazy bum to sit down to do it :/

lol, I am very organized with my makeup. It’s either on my dresser or in my makeup bag in my purse. I guess that’s where I got the himet from for actually going through with this idea of mine of documenting EVERY makeup item I own. CRAY.

When I joined I was posting about make up all the time because I was a lot more into it back then and also preparing for my wedding, for which I did the MU myself.
