HOW?! I haven't seen the movie so I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. Am I a shopaholic?! WHAT AM I!
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
^OMG! I want to do my own makeup for my wedding too! Did you like how yours turned out?
Very much. No regrets at all.
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
VERY organised indeed lol! It’s a good idea though :k:
I don’t even have enough makeup to make a spreadsheet haha
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
There is vivacity to her…she is passionate about shopping and you are just as passionate about makeup.
I totally see it!!!
Its so cute…![]()

LOL! That seems right up my alley. ![]()
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
BUMP.
I am obsessed w/ filing my makeup in this now. Also, on a different tangent what’s the amount you guys would put aside as your budget for wedding purposes? I added the $$ total feature on the spread sheet and nearly had a heart attack. But in my defense, at least I won’t have to spend more money when it’s shaadi time. ![]()
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
^i think i must be the only one who had 5 times more make up before the wedding than after ! the problem is makeup expiry dates, if you're getting married in less than a year then you won't have to buy anything else except for water based products such as mascara or liquid foundation which have a shorter shelf life , otherwise it would be a shame to end up tossing it out.
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
Now I have a complex. LOL
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
My stash is to a point where I won’t need to purchase any eyeshadow or blush for the next decade! The ONLY make-up I’m specifically buying for the wedding is the lipstick for touch-ups (MAC Morange). Otherwise, the only other items I purchase every few months are mascaras or foundation/concealor when I run out.
Nice excel sheet btw! I used to to this years ago when I first started with my eye MU (my largest collection) but then got lazy. ![]()

I'm not getting married anytime soon but the cream products I toss out and replenish often like mascara or concealers. I'm not wasteful so I DO use it because I hate having to throw out makeup!

I'm like that with blush too but I still need to expand my eyeshadow and lipsticks a lot more. Once I get off my no-buy after buying Hakuhodo brushes, I am def. saving up for Sephora's F&F sale so I can add some more e/s. And I think girls with big stashes have the benefit you mentioned because at wedding time, we do not need to start from scratch. YAY!

Yep...same here. I re-purchase mascaras, concealors, foundations etc when I run-out (I don't have a "stash" for these)......but with eyeshadows/pigments/blush....those powder products will last me for a decade if not more! I don't wear L/S often but I'm also hesitant in buying tons since its a cream product. And yea....with all the other wedding headaches....the last thing I want to think about is what make-up I need for it! :)
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
so M and Paheli, you're not worried about your powders' shelf life ? (blushes, e/s etc) or maybe i'm too OCD, but for example last year i decided to sell all my Nars blushes and kept juste one (Amour).
reason for that was i once had an allergic reaction to a Guerlain blush which i had for a very long time, even though i handle my stuff with care and don't put my make up in the bathroom !

Nope....not worried so far. I have 80+ eyeshadows.....around 30ish MAC Pigments.....20ish blushes.....some of this stuff I've had for like 7-8 years. So far I haven't experienced any issues with it. LOL.....and I actually store everything in my bathroom! (although the toilet is totally separated from the vanity area).
The only time I would be concerned is if the I see the texture or color actually change (and of course, if I had a negative reaction).
Question: Did you actually try the NARS blushes before selling them? I ask b/c just if Guerlain blush gave you a reaction....that has nothing to do with NARS blushes (different company that may have some different ingredients). The oldest NARS stuff I own are Albatross and Outlaw and I've had those for quite a while.....still no issues.
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
yeah i used some of them a couple of times but I mainly decided to sell them because I felt I had too much and I barely used them, and I find that I use less and less makeup, therefore they will just sit there and "get old".
the Guerlain one i had for maybe 2/3 years, i guess it depends on people, i tend to have sensitive skin so i'm really careful (and a bit OCD)
Re: Makeup Spreadsheet (for all you OCD/organized/big-stash girls, ahem)
^Which reminds me, are you still running your blog sale? I was curious about the Chanel bronzer. >.<
