Make me a Sandwich, woman.
Make it Yourself!
Fix the leaky plumbing/move the heavy furniture/change my flat tire, man.
Do it Yourself!
this is what i like hearing, if my honay waali says that i am intentionally going to make the worst sandwich like the one MR BEAN makes in one of his skits :D
yeah, but she's never going to say that ;)

Yes well those things are alittle different as they probably affect both parties concerned whereas the sandwich issue will only affect the husband's tummy lol

Ok, so many of you girls do work, and you plan on working after marriage, or you already are.
So this is a pretty pertinent topic.
To the GS Men: How many of you are ok with cooking your own meals if your wife is working and she doesn't have time to make you meals (sometimes, often, all the time, whatever).
I think this is one of the biggest challenges for desi men. Getting off their duff and doing it themselves.
PCG when you go in practical life everything is shared , even I am stay at home mom but that doesn't mean I don't get help.I do get help a lot. ;)Desi men do help and when u do job you do everything equally.
I'm sure there are ways to overcome those problems Decent 6Chora :)
Having no experience in this matter, I'd say that marriage is a question of compromise. So if the wife works all hours as does the husband, its unfair to expect her to tend to his every need...unless she is willing to do so of her own accord and vice versa!
Pareezay, do you work, and if you do, how demanding is your job? I'm talking about women who probably are in your husband's shoes.
How do men react ot that? Would they be as accommodating as you are for your husband?
PCG if your job is demanding then you should get a husband who works from 9 to 5 so it will be easy for both of you.And believe me things adjust in your marriage if your husband understands you.
Re: Make Your Own Sandwich
I dont midn cooking for him, but if i were to ask him to do something it'd probably be dishes...i'd rather clean toilets than do dishes but thats just me.
Re: Make Your Own Sandwich
these types of discussions turn into nightmares the more they are addressed as determining factors.......
guys have expectations just as women do
I believe in "natural roles" and made sure that my husband understood that
If you don't believe in this then make sure that your future husband knows
rest will all fall in place provided you are willing to make it work.
Re: Make Your Own Sandwich
Is it so unnatural for a woman to want her husband to cook for her?

Re: Make Your Own Sandwich

How the hell can you screw up making a sandwich? That is the easiest thing to make in the world dude.

Re: Make Your Own Sandwich
Yeah like when you put the wrong sauce in it.
Or you overcook the meat going into the sandwich.
Or you get really dry turkey from the deli ![]()
EYE4EYE see, my point :k:
looks like PCG is entering the “nadz’s pre-marital” phase!
hahahahahaha
nadz had many questions before marriage, now she is on this post to “help” out answer your question…
but we all know :halo: pyg would never ask about how first night would go ![]()
