LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

i remember reading an article in a major pakistani newspaper when I was around 15 about a girl who had undergone a sex change operation. there were no arrests following the operation so one would assume it is allowed to do this pakistan.
but then are they supposed to still act like their old gender after having changed their sex? i mean shamile/nazia got the operation done without any problems...why are people upset when she is acting out her new gender?

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

Will they(shamile/nazia) be able to have children?
Or they gonna adopt children like a gay couple did in America.
The first thought came to mind was " how the child will be calling its parents?"
Daddy and Papa?

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

why are you worried about whether they will be able to have children or not? how does it concern you?

P.S. that did not answer my original question

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

If they can't have children then why she went through the operation?
If after the operation the couple can't have children then it means he is still she.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

maybe because she was uncomfortable in the body of a female
maybe because the sole purpose of her life is not to make babies

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

may be she is a radical femenist.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

yep that could be it too. or maybe she's been "somehow" isolated from men so long that the only love she knows is that of a female. who knows.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

hahaha....i read it all. I wonder why western women who have complete freedom to sleep around with any men, become lesbians.
When a woman is being kept away from men....then there are more of chances for her being heterosexual.

Human Psychology sis!.......humans go for hidden, untouched and unique.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

It's not really a laughing matter, it can be a serious medical condition for some. I also wouldn't down play psycological issues either, which our community suffers from just like any other...

People just don't get up and opt for a radical surgery because they wanna cross dress. If the surgery was cosmetic, then the doctors should be to blame for performing an unwarranted operation. Shouldn't give in to such requests simply as a matter of "comfort" for the individual, no more than we should satisfy the desires of the suicidal.

That kind of self-mutilation (assuming it's not a corrective surgery) is sad...

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

I'm laughing at something else....she edited her post later.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

the above does not make any sense.
when a woman is being kept away from men there are more chances of her being hetero? read up a little on lesbianism in strict nations where women are kept isolated such as iran and about lesbianism in girls-only institutions and then we'll talk.
but im not here to discuss who makes the best lesbian (western "free" women or burqa'ed isolated women) my point was to ask why sex change operations are allowed in pakistan if they are going to arrest them later on for acting the part.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

10 masoom bacchiyonkon ki kharaabi kar daali aur ab judge ko ilzaam lagaaa rahen hon. Sharam aani chaahiye aapko Pir saahib.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

can you please provide the names of countries with high population of Lesbians or gays?

and for your question...I am not sure if sex changes operations are allowed in Pakistan or not but i know abortions are illegal in pak but still pakistan has a very high rate of abortions....may be same situation is with the sex change operations.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

no. can u?

because it would be a biased study. a country that does not arrest people for being gay/lesbian would "seem" like it has a higher population since more people will be willing to come out.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

you might be right.......in Pakistan at least we cannot see the lowest of the lowest in streets yet.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

^ I doubt that.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

lol.....you doubt everything.....aap ka kaam hi yahi hai.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

To be honest, I haven't ever been down the streets of Pakistan. I hope to one day Insha'Allah.

But I don't think the lowest of low stay off the streets any more there than they do here.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

yes brother.....things are changing so quickly.

Re: LESBIANISM IN PAKISTAN

Are you suggesting that the lowest of the low haven't existed previously, or they have just stayed inside to this point?
