After going thru the thread we can safely conclude that scholars are divived on the isuue of women wearing jeans.

According to Mufti PCG it is allowed whle according to Mufti Hareem it is not.

Brother my perception is based on Dr Zakir Naik's lecture or article.(I've posted the link).
Muftis and Ullemah have much more knowledge....I am nothing in comparison to them.

Moderator, Thank you for deleting my earlier post. It might have offended Mr.Hareem and his kinds. I just find it hard to control my sarcasm and not poke jokes at religion-obsessed guys with limited rationality always trying to preach others

As long as it doesn't attract THAT kind of attention - there is nothing wrong with it. Dress is more of a cultural thing.
My wife is a hijaban (not the Burqa hijaban, but the scarf / head covering hijaban - not the face) and she wears trousers (and occasionally jeans too) / long sleeved shirts, when she has to go out .... offcourse with a very sober sense of dress code and I dont think that it defies the basic interpretation of sharm / hayaa / hijab in any way.

dont' you know that women are 'haram' themselves to many people because of their self-made controlling needs for this gender?

as long as a lady is decently covered, she is fine.

There are two aspects to your query.

*Women’s attire in general
Female attire during Salaah

*A female should display shame and modesty in every aspect of her life, her
character as well as her clothing. She should not wear revealing clothes or
tight fitting cloths which reveals the form and shape of her body. When she
exits her home, she should don her hijaab and not intermingle with Ghair
Mahram (not prohibited in marriage) males as every human being has a Nafs
(desires) which becomes even more mischievous with the motivation of the
Shaitaan. Intermingling may lead to any type of illicit relationship - from[FONT=verdana,geneva,lucida,‘lucida grande’,arial,helvetica,sans-serif] evil thoughts till actual intimacy. That is death to spirituality. As regards to attire in Salaah in principal, a female is required to cover all her hair and the entire bod including her forearms. In covering herself, she should don modest attire as explained above.
