Some of the stuff is clearly mentioned as Halal, Haram, Makrooh and Mustahab and some is done thru laws and regulations being provided in Quran and Hadith............................. so My dear brother
if we can accept member of our oown family as porn ........... then it is not haram ( or makrooh if u like to call it)......and is halal or recommeded......
We can have other laws appleid too but I hope this works

Jeans and T-shirts are just pieces of cloth. It is how you wear them and how you act in them that matters.

I dont understand why people debate on topics like this, seriously, what's wrong with wearing jeans when the other chick might be wearing a tight pajama or a tight fitted kameez, Same Thing! You can still see the body shape/image either way if they are fitted or you cant if both are loose. Its just a matter of what kind you wear, kinda like what Tariq said.

Now about the topic... Islam is a religion for all times and all peoples. It has laid out some specifics and then there are some basic rules set out. If somthing is not prohibited specifically in Qura'an, it doesn't mean it is halaal.
Qura'an says muslim women should dress modestly and not show their beauty to na-mehrams. Now a tight shirt with jeans doesnt satisfy that criteria as the ups and downs of the body are all visible.
Modesty is defined by society, and that definition can thus change depending on what society you are livinging in... If your in a western society, Jeans and T shirts can be considered modest while in Saudia Arabi it wouldnt... When considering whats modest dress, you have to take the society you live in into context.

Often the Shalwar Kameez can be just as revealing as the t shirt and jeans since many times the Kameez can be partially see through.

Islam defines modesty as well as society, muslims need to understand that they are obliged to adopt the criteria of modesty as per Islam rather than as per the societies they live in. For this reason tight fitted shalwar kameez are just as bad as tight fitting jeans.

As I said before "koi bhi aaisa kapray jo mard k kapron se mushabihat rakhtay hon ya koi bhi aaisay kapray jo aurat k kaproon se mushabihat rakhtay hon woh pehan'nay se Rasool e ALLAH (SAW) ne mana farmaya hai.
Yeh baat mein ne nahi kahi aik naik insaan mufti sahab jo deen ko hum se behtar samjhtay hain unhon ne batai hai mujhe.
Waisay bhi unhon ne mujhse kaha tha k mautariz(aaitaraz karnay wala)
uss se behas karnay ka koi faida nahi hai.
Like ALLAH ne namaz parhnay ko kaha hai.((Kaha hai to Kaha hai)
iss mein KiON (why) kahan se aa jata hai k bhaii kion kaha hia.
aur rahi baat fitting walay kaproon ki to yeh to log samjhein to phir na yeh baat sirf auratoon k liye nahi hai yeh mardon k liye bhi hai k koi bhi aaisay kapray jis mein aap k jisam k azaa numayaan hon woh pehan'na haraam hai.
Kapray pehanay kion jaatay hain ? Issi liye na k insaan apnay jisam ko chupa sakay na mehram se.To fitting walay kapray same he hai k insaan ne kuch nahi pehna hua (ya see through)

Surah an-Nur ayah 31 says:
Wa qul li al-mu'minat yaghdudna min absarihinna wa yahfazna furujahunna wa laa yubdina zenatahunna illa maa zahara min haa wal-yadribna bi khumurihinna ala juyubihinna; wa laa yubdina zenatahunna illa li bu'ulatihinna aw aba'ihinna aw aba'i bu'ulatihinna aw abna'ihinna aw abna'i bu'ulatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw bani ikhwanihinna aw bani akhawatihinna aw nisa'ihinna aw maa malakat aymanu hunna aw at-tabi'ina ghayri ulu'l-irbat min ar-rijal aw at-tifl alladhina lam yazharu ala awrat an-nisa wa laa yadribna bi arjulihinna li yu'lama maa yukhfina min zenatahinna. Wa tubu ilaAllahi jami'an, ayyuha al-mu'minun la'allakum tuflihun.
Tarjuma:
And say to the faithful women to lower their gazes, and to guard their private parts, and not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it, and to extend their headcoverings (khimars) to cover their bosoms (jaybs), and not to display their beauty except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their womenfolk, or what their right hands rule (slaves), or the followers from the men who do not feel sexual desire, or the small children to whom the nakedness of women is not apparent, and not to strike their feet (on the ground) so as to make known what they hide of their adornments. And turn in repentance to Allah together, O you the faithful, in order that you are successful.

Surah al-Ahzab ayah 59 says:
Ya ayyuha an-Nabiyy qul li azwajika wa banatika wa nisa al-mu'minin yudnina alayhinna min jalabib hinna; dhalika adna an yu'rafna fa laa yu'dhayn. Wa kana Allahu Ghafur Rahim.
Tarjuma:
O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the faithful to draw their outergarments (jilbabs) close around themselves; that is better that they will be recognized and not annoyed. And God is ever Forgiving, Gentle.

Together, these two ayat lay out seven commandments for Muslim sisters:
- "to lower their gazes"
- "to guard their private parts"
- "not to display their beauty except what is apparent of it"

Summary:
According to Quran and sunna women must wear a jilaab (hijaab) (abaya) (a upper loose coat).
Hijab consists of modest behavior in lowering the gaze, guarding the private parts, and avoiding showing off, and of modest dress. The modest dress includes a headscarf and must cover all of the body except the face and the hands. Outdoors and in open public places, a long coat (jilbab) should be worn in addition to the modest dress commanded by Surah an-Nur ayah 31. Each of these obligations is clearly set out in the Quran and has been explained by the Prophet (sAas).

Brother my perception is based on Dr Zakir Naik's lecture or article.(I've posted the link). Muftis and Ullemah have much more knowledge....I am nothing in comparison to them.

Simple answer is as follows:
Jeans or no jeans. Man or woman.
Showing body parts or shape and size of (private) body parts is not allowed in Islam and it has been an integral part of other religions such as christianity and Judaism. (Until late 1950s even showing ankles of a woman was not allowed in many western countries)
Men or women who wear tight clothes (or jeans) showing the size and shape of their behind or front are not following this Islamic rule.
Some people want to continue to uphold this Islamic rule and others want to escape from it by reasoning and arguments.

Ever noticed in many western movies they show men doing Sajdah during Namaaz ONLY from behind??? Just think about it for a second.
The disgusting view if one can imagine! So men should also cover their behind!!!! Thats why long shirts have been designed in past.
