Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
oh and as far as pakistani discussions about not liking indians; well the simple fact is that as a country we don't like india. we just don't; like u said everyone is entitled to their opinion.
O.K thank you :D,anything else..?
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
as a pakistani and a muslim, i feel your plight. y'all are our brothers (and sisters) in islam but some of these indian muslims prefer hindus more than us pakistani muslims and that i find troubling.

Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
Me: Nah man I'm Pakistani. Indian: Oh yea same thing. =)
NO, crackerjack. It's not the same thing.
There's a lot of Indians in the area that I live in. I'm not prejudiced against them or any of that nonsense - I have a handful of Indian pals. But on countless occasions when I have come across an Indian and they feel inclined to ask me if I'm Indian, and I've responded that I'm Pakistani, some will say "oh yea same thing". I appreciate the effort they are making to mend the broken relationship between Indians in Pakistanis, but I think that for having our forefathers fight and die for our country and eventually winning our independence and becoming a seperate nation, the least they could do is acknowledge the fact that Pakistan is not the "same thing" as India. Our culture is nearly the same but our principles (Pakistani's being based on Islamic teachings) are very different and it is that what truly defines a person.
So, no. It's not the same thing.
he want to show you his affection saying we are samething, but you took it in wrong way, obviously everyone knows 2 are different countries, he meant samething is like you are not gore or black
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
okay I haven't read the whole thread but your post reminded me of the conversation that I had with this Indian guy a few months ago..
Him.. so how come your last name is different than most pakistanis?!
Me: because I am kashmiri.. that's where my forefather are from!
Him: oh really, where in Kashmir?
Me: Occupied Kashmir
Him: Muzzaffarabad??
Me: NO, Srinagar!!!
the look on his face was priceless.. I have never been that excited to tell someone that YOU have our area occupied. It just felt great!! :D

I strongly doubt that this conversation ever happened -- you probably just made it up for effect.
An average Indian (outside of Kashmir) would barely know about "Muzaffarabad" --- much less the fact that it is on the Pakistani side of Kashmir. Many would probably think it is a town in UP/Bihar.

Still don't want to let kashmir go???
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
^ why would india require to let it go. A nation born out of religion has a very dangerous existence in this world.

How about kashmir don't belong to india??????????
True answer would be "why india require to let it go, WHEN INDIAN CAN KEEP OCCUPYING IT BY ROWDINESS"
says who? George Bush?
US it self was formed by protestants, never had freakn catholic president. funny ehh?
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
Unless you can pay for 200k of plastic surgey and skin grafts you are going to hear this all your life.
Don't get stressed - lighten up and try something like "yeah. Asian Cherokee"
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?

Its time for you guys to let go of Kashmir buddy.
Whatever modicum of support Pakistan had internationally for its stand on Kashmir has evaporated. No country can now be bothered to lend an ear to Pakistan on Kashmir......So let go.....
If you ask me, its in Pakistan's interest to keep the Indians in good humour.
Your cricketers need the ICL/IPL money.
Your artists need our Bollywood.
Your people need our soap operas and movies.
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
hmmm
sadly most of you said is true.
Mostly because of indian loving president.
However nothing changes the fact that kashmir belongs to pakistan. We are not asking for too much we only need whats ours.
Re: Indian: Hey are you Indian?
I totally agreed to what what you said saieen. As a matter of fact, I have yet to understand the actual reason for "FIGHTIN"G FOR AN INDEPENDENT STATE". For the longest period of time, we have been hearing and reading that MUSLIMS WANTED TO HAVE A COUNTRY WHICH THEY COULD CALL THEIR OWN AND WHERE THEY COULD HAVE FREEDOM TO FOLLOW THEIR RELIGION...However, what one refuses to think about is the fact that India as a whole was fighting to get independence from British rule and before the arrival of British, it was muslims, and not hindu, who were ruling India and had been doing so for hundreds of years already..so, basically, who and what did muslims of that era have problem with...
another thing that I would like to add, we keep crying over being muslims and living in an ÏSLAMIC" state and having our own so-called identity, If you observe what is going on in Pakistani these days under the name of MODERNISM AND PROGRESS, they are following anything but islam...Pakistanis - the term includes all of us - are one of the biggest hypocrite nation in the world...and this might be our identity
don't know about quaid getting hell/heaven, but one thing is for sure...pakistanis in pak are living in hell. indians are better off without pak and they should be glad that in the next 50-60years there won't be any pak left as the way pakistanis are selling this country for their own greed and interests.
