Re: chemical peels
Thanks everyone for ur input :)
**
Namkeen**, i'm having them done at an asian (paki) place, wot about u? Is it better to go to a pakistani who knows more about ur skin? Well my treatment is for six weeks, once a week...but so far i have had two done...the first time they left the stuff on for 2 mins and the second time for 3 mins...they said they wud gradually increase this to see how my skin reacts to the formula.
Ira, sure any info on peels is helpful...i found out about other types of peels after i had started this chemical peel :( but let's see, it mite work for me...yea i have some acne scars too, that i wana get rid of b4 my wedding...so since i have time, i thought now wud be as good a time as any...where do u get these green peels done from, asian or gora place?
Femme Fatale, yea my beautician told me to stay out of the sun also and to wear lots of sun block, just to be extra careful u know.
Angel Eyes, i believe anyone can have them done...i think older women have a different type of peel to help with wrinkles...but ppl told me i shud try the chemical peel to help get rid of some marks n stuff.
LegallyBrown, u get them done WITH ur facial?! Isn't it too harsh for ur skin? Well hopefully after this 6 weeks treatment i won't keep getting peels, cos they r annoying and not to mention expensive (at least when u do them every week!) But i do get a facial every month, just not now cos i thought it wud be bad to have a facial in the same month as having peels.
So wot r glycolic peels?
