lol honestly if guys cant have upto 4 wives in some societies, why cant females? I'm not talking about religion. There was a show on tv about a girl with two husbands. lol. personally, I think thats too much, how can one share feelings and bed with two people, polygamy marriage is a joke to me, atleast in todays world. But then again, if they are freakin rich, then hey shopping spree everyday!!!!

Our last prophet Muhammad (saw) did polygamy and Quran also support the idea of it.

A man can’t just marry a woman because he wants to, there are exceptions for when more than 1 wife is allowed. Of course nowadays that is totally taken out of context so men can fulfill their fantasies about not being being content with one woman. I personally think it shouldn’t be allowed because it is not relevant to our time any more. Most men who say that are just wanting multiple partners.

^I have to agree with you M. Practically speaking, nowdays this is not possible. And there are many reasons for that. However, this is not in our position to say what is allowed and what is not.

why is one man sleeping with four women not considered a male prostitute but a woman that might sleep with two men is? dont always let tradition and society decide your future...if that were the case you'd still be stuck in a cave.
perhaps definitions need to change from time to time.
also the OP didnt say a woman should go around sleeping with random men for money. she's suggesting a proper marriage and all that comes with it :-)

Your post if full of contradictory statments IC. If a man does it with then it is halal. And if woman does this it is haram. Clear cut. Now, good idea would be to get fatwa from scholar..

can you provide detail where it is written ok for man to sleep four women at a time from well know scholar.
otherwise, your claims are baseless.
