Re: Home made tips (mysterious women)

hey hayatkhans did u find the thread u were looking for? can i get rid of this one?

Re: Need sum help or tips on Beauty matters?

Hayatkhans> You seem quite stressed - are you taking any vitamins - if not what's your diet like? are u including fresh fruit and veg in your diet?

Dont try out too many products or techniques in one go can aggrevate problems....try and steer away from makeup as much as possible if you have acne problem - unless its minor spots - also cleanse and tone regular.

Re: Home made tips

MW: I just had a question. I have been getting my face threaded for at least 10 years now. I was wondering if maybe I should bleach every other month and thread every other month? Is it better then threading every month? Or does it make a difference? I wanted to start bleaching for a glow in my skin..

Re: Home made tips

just using loose powder cause hve to go office. already my face is so dull with stress that if i go without loose powder it will be hilarious....
Ya i m taking alot of stress of preparation stuff etc....as my family doing it in pak and i m far away just guiding..its so irritating.
no still didnt start with any vitamins..whisch vitamin u suggest? Diet is just ok as i dnt feel like eating.

Re: Home made tips

Pyaari83> Bleaching every month or so is fine - but it will mainly lighten facial hair and give like a temporary glow - it doesnt improve skin condition in anyway, and if overdone, it can actually dry up skin.

Re: Home made tips

Hayatkhans> You need to consult your local pharmacy or GP as to which vitamins are suitable for you - i would suggest maybe a vitamin C and zinc. Also maybe try drinking some Saafi, blood purifier, as its know to be good for the skin - but check with doctor first.

Re: Home made tips

Uzma> Sounds like you've got it tough too - you really need to sort your diet out and are u even getting enough sleep? 8hrs minimum otherwise u'll be complaining of dark circles - last thing u want before ur big day - have you tried Body Shop's Sage & Comfrey Blemish Gel? works wonders for occasional spots - also are u cleansing/toning? if not, better start - if you dont have much time or cant be bothered - then at least try to use an all-in-one wash/cleanser, like the Boots own range (sorry you didnt mention where u from, so dont kno if u have a Boots or Body Shop around your end).....also try exfoliating at least once a week - Saafi helps clear the inner system, like a detoxifier - so try it out after consultation with your GP.

Hope that helps.

Re: Home made tips

Hello mysterious woman…i have a couple of questions…

1): I love lining my eyes, all round, (for a dark kohl look) but how do i line them around my lower lid without looking like a racoon. I have tried with kajal and a pencil and within hours all of it gets smudged :bummer:

secondly, can you tell me how to make my eyes look bigger with very simple tricks, which i can try myself…i have posted my pic, so you can look at the eye and tell ..i hope it helps…

Re: Home made tips

Hiya Horizon472>

Ypu may want to try a cream called 'Fade out' or 'Fade away' - however, home-made tips would be to apply ubtan and cleanse/tone face regular - also steaming and facials and also bleaching will help towards skin disoloration, as well as drinking plenty of water, changing diet and taking essential vitamin supplements.

Hope that helps.

:)

Re: Home made tips

Hi Nooree>

Mashallah - your very pretty and that baby is sooo cute!

However tips on applying liner under eyes - would be to use a pencil (maybe Avon’s glimmerstick liner) and apply only half way to make eye appear bigger - you start from middle of under eye and go across to the corner of eye - most ppl dont realise that you end up wid a racoon look if you line the whole eye - you should just do it halfway as dats wat gives it the open-eyed look. Also, after applying liner, try getting sum brown/chocolate eyeshadow (or black if you dare!) and go over the liner under eyes and then look up and smudge wid your finger to give it a subtle smokey intensified look.

Also, abit of highlighter eyeshadow in shades of white/ivory or cream on brow bone will help eye look bigger than normal. For evenings you may want to dab a darker colour on the corner of your top lids and smudge it outwards to get a sixties look…

Hope that helps.

Re: Home made tips

Nooree> Another tip for getting eye makeup to stay on all day long - is to use foundation and concealer as a base. It doesnt have to be a heavy foundation but maybe even a light tinted version. If not, maybe a concealer on it's own around eye area and lids.

What you want to do is apply some mosituriser on face, let it sink in then after few mins apply a dab of concealer under eyes and lids and on ay blemishes (if any), then either dust with pressed powder to seal or use foundation and then dust with the powder. After that apply pencil on your eyes and you will notice the whole look lasts longer than usual...

Hi there,

I would first start taking some vitamin supplements to help condition and growth of hair - Hairvit is a great one, available from local pharmacies.

Then, ensure that you have a good healthy diet consisting of Vitamin B as that provides essential nutrients required for good hair condition.

Also you need to have regular visits to your hair salon for split-ends and refreshing of hair - try not to straighten or blow dry you hair too much, and avoid using too many hair products.

Body Shop do a Ginger Shampoo which is great for dandruff and if i was you i'd stick to one brand for at least few months as moving between brands can make problem worse.

Also i would advise that you treat yourself to a hair conditioning treatment (i'd do it at home as its much cheaper) at least every 2-4 weeks and also apply some oil on your hair whenever you can.

Another thing dont wash your hair too much as it makes it worse and dries scalp and causes itchiness, best thing to only wash when necessary - maybe every other day.

Hope that helps.
