Exactly … and there is no need to make a big deal out of such issues. Muslims in Switzerland should worry about praying 5 times more than to worry about whether the place of prayer has a minaret or not.
In fact, here in USA, where I used to live .. masjid committee collected some ridiculous amount of fund to build a minarate. few hundred thousand dollars. I was like, dude, why do we need to spend such a huge amount on a peice of structure that has not functionality left in the western mosques. Why cant you send this money to poor countries or do somethinng else with that.
