working out will actually give you temporary relief…try it! works for me when i get sinus due to cold or something.
^ Same here! I think sweating helps too!
it does. exercise releases endorphins from your body (a natural pain killer and fever reducer). Those same endorphins also make you feel happy :D
Re: Gymming Log!
Went to gym after 3-4 weeks. It felt good. Stepped on the scale - HOLY CRAP! Should have stayed away from the holidays parties. I need to lose 10 pounds ASAP!

So you managed to put on 10lbs in 3-4 weeks?!?!?!
LOL!!! thats actually cute…but i wish i had the stamina to challenge myself like ^…hehe but ya i have seen this happening at the gym often and i find that weird hehehe.
Re: Gymming Log!
The worst thing is when you miss gym even for a week you can feel a difference in your body and stamina. Building stamina is hard work, but losing it is like the drop of a hat.
I can’t work out when my head is clogged with mucus
It pounds with every step I take. Maybe I’ll go for a swim.
Re: Gymming Log!
^ It's all in your head catty!!
p.s. we dont have an indoor pool here at our rec center :(

Re: Gymming Log!
40 minutes arc climber - Seriously does it burn 400 calories. Getting back into the gym esp hard in the winter.
I am just going for my 30 minutes of cardio - I don't have much motivation right now to diet
They sure do :@:

Ever since thanksgiving I have totally been totally pigging out! And no exercise! If not 10 I definately have put on 7-8 pounds
Re: Gymming Log!
Ok i have a question
so i have started to run again but not sure if i should start working on my mid-section - which needs serious attention. My mid-section has always been "healthy" but now its just too much, i gained like 15 pound in the last 6 months but wasn't able to work out because of...well life... but now i do cardio for 30 mins daily and am trying to eat healthy... i need to know if i should already work on my mid-section or should a wait a little...lose a little bit of the fat and then start on it?
i want to work on my muscles not the fat...or it doesn't matter at what point i start both way its going to make me lose the fat first thn work on the muscles ...i m lost....

Cardio will definately help you slim your mid-section and burn fat but in order to tone you will need to do ab exercises as well.
Cardio and strength training exercises go hand and hand. You will not see results without doing the other.
My suggestion: Do both to get the best results. Run then do some ab routines.
Re: Gymming Log!

Doing strength exercises for tummy will tone the muscle that you have but will not get rid of flab.
If you want results - Do both. So situp or crunches.
For the tummy - you have to watch what you eat. Stay off the breads, cakes, rice, potatoes. Anything starchy.
Re: Gymming Log!
So a little birdie :@: told me its advisable to take at least a day off every week, and rest completely. What do you guys do? Ive been working out every day of the week for about an hour and a half daily and lately I can feel a little bit of fatigue.
