Since when does Hijab and abaya mean not modern. People really need to come to Dubai. Dubai is full of BEAUTIFUL ladies who wear hijab and do abaya:blush: … Broaden your horizons and get educated. Hijab and abaya does not mean that the girl will be UGLY, UNEDUCATED, NOT WELL MANNERED, NOT MODERN etc!!!

this is just before marrige ...i remember my hubby before marriges liked me to dress well and want me to look good to every one......and after marrige he said me to wear hijab and abaya ....so .....what can u say about this.....:(

I agree. Men are too at risk for getting raped and harassed and molested. They need to keep it covered, so the other ladies keep their hands off.

BTW, that reminds me of this one guy I talked to. He had a beard, which I wasn’t expecting. So, upon seeing the beard, I was like…well, i’m not attracted to it, and I really don’t want to be married to a bearded guy. Anyway, he had the gall to tell me that just like hijab is a deterrent to pervy men, beards are a similar deterrent to pervy women and he promised that BECAUSE of that beard, (which would be like his hijaab), there would be no reason to suspect anyone trying to seduce him.

Yeah, that sounds funny right?

So does the argument about hijabs and abayas, and niqaabs.

i don’t exactly have much knowledge of islam unfortunately. but i am sure that is not the real reason behind beard

i dunno why husbands have to force abaya or hijaab...women know very well that in which community they should do parda and in which community they are comfortable without it...pata nahi y husbands force k abaya kero chaader lo hijaab kero huh

Oh man, dont get me started on the hijab. I have seen so many girls who wear hijab but then also wear ksin tight jeans. Yeah that's pious, cover your head but show your big fat ass.
