I think you should keep an open mind about it. You never know, you could fall in love with a woman who wears hijaab abaya etc...i don't think this should define wether you get on with someone or not.
Its like saying, i would never marry someone who likes wearing long boots, or who has blue eyes...why restrict yourself?

Since when does Hijab and abaya mean not modern. People really need to come to Dubai. Dubai is full of BEAUTIFUL ladies who wear hijab and do abaya:blush: … Broaden your horizons and get educated. Hijab and abaya does not mean that the girl will be UGLY, UNEDUCATED, NOT WELL MANNERED, NOT MODERN etc!!!

Just a question, Will you marry a girl who wears a hijab or hijab and abaaya or would you rather marry a girl who doesnt.
I personally would marry a girl who doesn`t, well for no justifiable reason cuz my own sister and mom wear hijaab and mashaAllah are namazi parhezgar, but i personally do not see myself being comfortable with one who does, I might be wrong but that is my opinion.
not necessary, though she should be aware of her traditional and oriental values. this is wat i think about my life, and would be life partner, whosoever she would be Allah willing

@ some of the responses.
I do not agree with the notion that girls who wear hijabs are not modern, modern does not mean to not wear hijab and wear deep necks and short shorts, I guess by not wearing hijab the girl might be less conservative but thats my thinking and for sure can be wrong. As far as forcing my wife to zabardasti wear hijaab and abaaya after marriage well I am against such ppl and that would be really hypocrite of me to want one thing before marriage and another after. Thanks for all your input but this was a spinoff from the other thread where someone asked if girls here would marry a guy with a long beard, thus just discussing personal choice or preference, i dont think there is any right or wrong answer. Hope i am making sense.

I would happily no problem .. but if its a full burkha type .. like covering your face to.. i hate it .. it's fine unless you are the hottest chick on planet !
Aisha jee as i said in my OP I cannot justify the reasoning and i do not have a correct answer, yet its something thats in my head and thats what i idealise, now saying who i will end up with is really difficult as i have no idea …
P.S women I donot have anything against women with hijab or abaya infact i have respect for them.

girls, why do you care a lot about what guys think about your preferences on Abaya, or hijab. do what you think is right (or will make ALLAH SWT happy), cuz the fact is as a human men also cant ever be happy :p
