its vey commen in our society.. people used to say ; she is a good girl…and she is a bad girl..

what is the definition of good girls and bad girls?

In any society usually the odd ones out are considered ''bad'' . For example 20 years back , girls in the favor of more education and an opportunity to work were considered bad , but not anymore . Just because now its a norm of the society .

may be good girl is a bad girl in their views.. but not for others.. and may be bad girl is a good girl in thre views bt not for others..

Its a matter of individual perspective, beliefs, ideals etc. and other such standards that we use to judge someone. Definition of who is good and who is bad will vary widely.

well according to the gossipy auntys where i live (who funnily enough criticise everyone elses kids but never see what their own are upto) a 'good' girl would be someone who listens to her mum and dad, completes her education, dresses modestly, knows how to cook, doesn't go out too much, gets married and settles down under the age of 30.

a 'bad' girl would be someone who goes out with friends too much, who doesn't cook/clean or help at home, who moves away from home for uni, who goes on holiday with friends, who wears too much make up, who doesnt wear salwar kameez 24/7 and keep her hair tied up and finally someone who isnt married by 30... apparently this translates as her not wanting to get married cos she has a gora bf.

so yh there u have it, a definitive guide to 'good and 'bad' girls from the local gossips

^ exactly. one of them really makes my blood boil... she gossips about everyone else and goes on about how her daughter is a 'good' girl but she has no idea that she has been dating a sikh guy for the past 2 years

Women who kill there children OR chop-off hubby's nono, BAD girls.

Stripper who can find other work but still strip, BAD girls.

Girls using sexuality to get what they want WOULD BE seen as BAD girls by decent women

its all a matter of respect imo...girls should have respect for themselves, their family and their elders....and if they have this quality...then the rest falls into place...whereas if its lacking then...yea they might be perceived as a "bad girl" in the sense that they just dont care what they do and don't do...

Well..I used to live with one of those aunty’s for 4 years and it was HELL…once her SON was caught reading Porno magz..and I was blamed for it :konfused:

So when ever her sons did something I was the bad girl !!!
