Don't know what u're using..perhaps folicron or ferrograd but take it regularly along with a tablespoon of honey everyday. Soak u're nails for atleast 20 mins angel..and then massage u're nails with the olive oil as well.
thanx Gina.....oh and i'm taking iron tablets they were prescribed by the doctor

^ So do I.
I believe it’d be safe to say that this is by far my most favorite thread on GS!
Gine, you’re my hero… Or heroine
(<-- Hmmm, wonder if I spelled this correctly).

poc marks.. nuthin can get rid of them:(, nothing natural anyway.
if they are shallow a chemical peel or microdermabrasion might get rid of them or make them appear less obvious but the only real way to 'get rid' is to have them filled in - they inject collagen or some other filler - but it's not permanent, kinda like botox. there are some that are long lasting (years) though - Restylane is supposed to be one.
Thank yew afsoon and iakd! PF, I gave u details PM sumtime back the issue is that u don't really get all the stuff in the US and UK =( the pitted-scars that u're talking about take ages to heal and "fill-up" if you want fast results, then filler-injections are your best option.
For all the girls that that have complained about uneven arms and discoloration, try 4 tablespoons of orange juice, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and 4 tablespoons of tomato juice and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (scrub with this mixture everyday)
For dark circles, massage almond oil lightly using your fingertips (twice a day)
For healthy lips apply a mixture of glycerine and rose water.
I have seen that brides take great care of their faces, hands and feet but they totally ignore their teeth! Please get get your teeth professionally cleaned and treated and do not ignore them!
Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~
hey Gina, can you post or pm me the details for the poc-mark treatment too?
i just have a some shallow, tiny ones on both cheeks so not bad or visible enough to warrant me getting cosmetic treatment. but if there is something that i can do at home, i would be up for trying it.
thanks!
1 tablespoon neem-paste, 1 tablespoon mint paste and just enuff lemon juice to make a uniform paste. Leave it on for 20 mins and wash-off.
You could even try kalonji powder and glycerine ( mix to make a paste) leave it on for 1/2 an hour.
The deep "pitted" acne marks are close to impossible to get rid of, and so are chicken pox marks!
Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~
thanks my dear.
neem-paste.. remember experimenting with that as a teenager. would i have to put this on my face everyday?
also, an annoying question but do you know what this treatment actually does to the skin to make them go? it's been years since i stopped getting spots but the small pits are the same as they ever were, even though my skin has obviously renewed itself many times over. so i'm just curious to know what it will do to the skin to make these areas heal.
anyway, when i try it i will keep you guys updated in case anyone wants to know if it's working.
Re: ~ Glowing Brides ~
what does glycerine and rose water do for the lips?
Stoppit, my dadi would know the details =( I blv they aid in filling the scars.
Glycerine and rosewater is great for people that complain that the color of their lips has become darker, keeps lips moisturized and keeps them pink and healthy as well.

can one use this as a lip balm or is it to be used only once...
how would you wax though? i mean i really think it would be too embarassing, i could NEVER go to someone for that. are there any home waxing that you guys recommend then? (something that is not too messy, and easy to use)
Actually Islamically speaking, you shouldnt go to someone for that, because even if its a woman she isnt allowed to see you there.. Halawa works good at home, or if thats too much hassel, try wax strips. Sit on the edge of the toilet seat and use a mirror
Gina I always thought henna was a great natural conditioner, but I recently read that it gradually dries out your hair? I always put olive oil and lemon juice in my henna, will it still dry hair out?
Also I heard a tea rinse can be used to add shine to hair? If it works, how do you use this? Does it have to be made from tea leaves or can you just make with a tea bag?
Thanks!
Fk no it's not a balm it will help regain u're natural lip-color and make u're lips more even toned.
Midnighteyes, henna REALLY dries out the hair even when it' mixed with egg, oil etc. It's best to use is once a month if you want to condition u're hair and leave it tinted. ( I cant bear the smell!) But u can mash a ripe banana, add an egg yolk to it plus 2 tablespoons olive oil and use this as a hair mask.
If you want a sheen midnite, flat beer (alcoholic/non both work) tea-water and vinegar all can be used to get the sheen u desire. Wash and shampoo u're hair normally and use them as a final rinse.
gina does the turmeric sandalwood makes the face go yellow...
It will but it's temp, wash it off with u're regular face-wash and it'll go away.
Just want say that GINA u r an absolute star, ive learnt so much from all your helpful tips and advice, thanks :) !!!
