First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

you remind me of ulema e bani israel…:hehe:

you do not want to start a religious discussion but you already try to do so..by calling every sound hadees as fabricated one…

now onus is on you to show that this hadees is fabricated one so please go on..

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

WHAT “every sound hadeeth” are you talking about? The ahadith which form the basis of books like Rangeela Rasool, or this particular hadith about Arab superiority, which does not even fulfill the requirements of common sense?

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

thats what you are saying.............

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

Agree, even in Quran there are verses which deal with the criticism brought forwarded by Kuffar e Makkah, etc that why Quran was not revealed in a language other than Arabic. It is then said in Quran that if it was revealed in other language, people would have said ' why the Quran is in another language, when the Prophet is an Arab'.

Moreover, the hadees quoted by TLK also contradict with the basic teaching of Quran (read Sura e Hujraat about why there are different tribes i.e. just for identity purposes and better amongst you is the one whose actions are better). Moreover, in khutba e Hajjat ul wida, the Prophet himself declared 'There is no preference of Arabs over non-Arabs and vice verse'. In Sura e Fatir, where difference of languages is mentioned in the words *'and the difference of your languages and colors. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge' *, it is not mentioned superiority of Arabic over other languages.

Quran does mention superiority of language and message of Quran and invites non-Muslim to present single verse like Quran, but it is just to prove that the revelation is divine.

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

This is so silly. If time is not a determinant of anything divine, then means NOTHING to say before and after about anything divine. Therefore let's remove the 'divine' aspect of all languages for this discussion.

Which then brings us to the realm of animals and human. In this realm whatever language the first humans would have been from Africa, them then traversing through the Indian coast to Australia.

But that will also be irrelevant in a few centuries because the then occupoints of this planet - the cyborgs - will talk about is humans with as much 'knowledge' as we do today about our forefathers.

Therefore the only answer that will be valid in a century or so to this question is.....drum roll......

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

Grunt and point was the first language spoken. Other languages evolved from that.

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

Peace All,

Bhai, mein ne simple sa sawal poocha hy, Murgha ban kr awaz nikalny ko nahi kaha.

There is a hadith in both Sahihain that on the day of resurection, some of the people would rush to one another in bewilderment and try to find a Prophet who will intercede them with Lord. They’ll come to Prophet Adam a.s., Prophet Noah a.s., Prophet Ibrahim a.s., Prophet Mosa a.s., Prophet Isa a.s., and lastly to Prophet Muhammad :saw2:

So what you think? Those peoples will be able speak all those languages of different Prophets? I think there will be one standard language. I don’t know what language that will be but as per another hadith narrated in Sahih Bukhari 'The first word uttered by Hazrat Adam a.s., was “Peace be upon you” was in arabic. So I believe that the arabic language will be the first and last language. Hence in this world 'there is no superiority of any language over any other language.

Purpose of this thread is to know ‘What was our language and how it is changed’ [answer is below]

Almighty Allah says in Chapter 14 Verse 4: "

And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise",

and Chpater 35 verse 24:

"Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner.

Holy Qur’an itself cleared that Almighty Allah sent messegers and warners within from that nations and there is no doubt of being different languages nor superiority of a language on any other language. Moreover Almighty Allah said in the Qur’an that it is made easy for all those who really ponder.

Sanskrit wasn’t first ever language but there is no doubt it is an old language.

Re: First Language Ever Spoken on This Earth

Sanskrit, the language of the Devas. Brahma has been in the business of creation (with Shiva being the destruction POC) for at least a billion years.

Om Shanti, Shanti, Shantihi.
