Thank you so much for your comments on Doraha. I am so happy it is being liked. I usually don´t do too many serials especially after they have become endless, having 18-150 episodes, but sometimes I think it takes that long for a story to register in the madness of cable tv. This project was made by everyone´s participation and all the actors and the crew worked very hard on it, with all the actors esp taking their roles very seriously and engaging with them, and the crew members working with complete dedication.
We usually started filming everyday around 9 or so and took a day off after every 8th day. The total shooting spell was 45 days. If you have any questions about the shooting or the drama..please go ahead and ask!

Thanks for posting this :) by the way, the serial has 14 eps only so two left to be aired in Pakistan. I do wish serials would go back to 13 eps..it's a much more civilized number!

only 14 episodes ..thats good.. i dont like dramas with gazillion episodes.. i like how this drama is not dragging

yeh zindagi just started here in USA few weeks ago, even before they started the play, geo started their advertisement of yeh zindagi and in nadia khan show javeria jalil told us that their drama will exceed 50 episodes, that was the last day i watched that drama, for some reason i can't stand the thought of those endless, pointless drama, that runs on, and on and on..........
please do more dramas like that. you have no idea, how this drama have touched us, and captured us under it's spell.
please tell us about your future projects, so we have something to look fwd to.
PS. sonia rahman is my most fav. tv actress after watching your drama. i am the biggest fan of her. :D

Sahira Kazmi's Nijaat serves a good example of how the treatment of a subject can make it entertaining or cumbersome to watch. Even though it tackled a serious issue, it was very entertaining because she lightened it up with music and romance which were a part of the story.That technique can make people sit through an otherwise heavy-handed drama.

Saira Kazmi is the ultimate, best director of all times. There are a few other amazing directors besides her as well but her dramas were the kinds that set trends and will always be classics. I wish she had attempted to make movies, she could have changed the face of Lollywood.

^ In a recent tv interview she said she's aiming to make a small-budget feature film. I think she would be a perfect choice to direct a film because she's very good in understanding the minds of her audience. No wonder her dramas,though socially relevant and issue-based, were very commercially successfully.

episode 13, another awesome episode. very concise with no redundant or typical dialogues, the facial expressions spoke louder than words! i have realized after watching this drama that shorter scenes have more of an impact, it conveys so much more than long winded dialogues, no matter how witty the exchage. and the on-going romance of the two characters of sara and omar is so subtle, so simple in its purity.
yes i love this drama!
