yes, sahir lodhi. It was not in news because this happened in the early days of his career. my friend has watched show, in which Sahir replied to the question about divorce and requested the host for change the subject.
He was divorced but Has remarried .. Been married for almost 10 years I think ... I know his ex and current wife

I remember seeing Sahir's interview few months back, in which he stated he is recently divorced. It was that show with ayesha alam, No reservations I think. So yea, I didn't he was married twice, but he recently got divorced. Sad news for both, but I'm sure it was for the best. No reason to be tied down to a marriage that you are unhappy in, even if kids are involved. I'm sure the kids with understand when they grow up.

You amazed me with your first statement and then you amazed me some more with that second one up there. So according to you if one's brother is divorced that automatically grants the fact that sister will be divorced as well. Then you brought in religion.... where does religion tell us any of this????

Infact you have to understand religion to understand what I am saying. I not a scholar here. go watch national geographic channel and see how female take care of her children. I dont have an example to show you love of a mother right now.

aap ko ye sab kese pata hai ke uss ke career ki waja se divorce hovi? aap unn ke ghar main rehtay hain? koi jasoos hai aap ka unn ke ghar main? ye gheroloo batain pata kese chaleeen aap ko? Perhaps her husband didn't like her cooking.. who knows what the real problem was, yeah it could have been her career or not... we don't know exactly what it was that caused the divorce.
And last but not least according to you showbiz ke logon ke liye divorce koi barri baat nahi tou phir itna sadma kyon pohancha aap ko? Karne dou unn ko divorce, i mean party. ;)

Please confirm with Shaista and her ex husband, then come and state what was the real reason behind their divorce. Also read my post above where I said it could OR couldn't have been her career, we don't know what exactly, all we got are RUMORS.

Have to say, when the morning show hosts change marital status or news talk show hosts switch channels, they lose some appeal.
I don't feel like watching Talat Hussain since he moved to Express News. And all others who keeps hopping from channel to channel.

I really like Talat but since his move from Dawn to Express and then the reasoning he gave that he needed a bigger platform before election ( I in a way felt that it was extremely unprofessional of Talat to say that Express is a bigger platform than Dawn) I hope I am not right but this is the beginning of Talat's Hussain's credibility.

Its always sad to hear about some one's divorce whatever the cause may be.
As an anchor, I really liked her when she used to do Shaista and U (hmmm some 7-8 years ago??). So much has changed since then. She is another causality of freaking morning shows. What a waste to talent, time and money.

Like many other members I also never liked her shows rather I had some reservations on boldness being displayed in her shows. but even then I felt vry vry sad about her divorce. I think she should have compromised if the real dispute was of fashion and appearance on TV. today people like u but tomorrow they will like some younger and beautiful charm. but at that time she will be alone with her kids.

no wonder. all that annoyingness she had developed over the years...if it were to get into someone's house and not on TV......they would surely go nuts... i feel sorry for the guy.
