Yea! same! Even in the village they stare. I think its because they havent seen women like us before in the village because in the pind everyone knows everybody else’s business.
HA HA, that is SUCH a funny story. It’s like if you dress too paindu the aunties don’t approve and if you dress all fancy then the perverts attack (yet they attack even if you’re dressed paindu). Ahhh, who cares, I think just wear what you’re comfortable in.
Once we were in Pindi in a rickshaw with my cousin’s wife and she is a very tall lady so she had trouble sitting in the rickshaw properly. Her leg was kind of poking out. When it had stopped at a traffic light, she said some man started feeling up her leg like he had stumbled upon gold. I told her to kick him but she said he upped and left like a fart in the wind before she could even think about kicking him 
I think I will go out shopping with a danda in my hand.
As for being with brother or father. No one even dares to touch if a man is with you. They keep their distance if a man is walking close to you BUT they will not stop staring.

You gotta be very alert and careful while @ a crowded shopping place. I know i am literally lost when i have to go to one as i am all the time making sure i am not being touched lol and that i have my stuff with me safe. I dont like going to crowded places :(. It's not only the men who def brush against you for their cheap thrills but women too being so lost in their shoppings that they forget they r not @ a battle ground but at a shopping mall and they are literally walking like warriors trying to get ahead of you at any cost. So weird n batemez i find such people.
What really amazes me is how these women are so into their clothes and stuff that they often have their kids at such a distance from them which i think is very unsafe :( And i hate such parents.

Iam sorry but I think that newspaper article is just rubbish. Typical way of demeaning women in Pakistan. Why dont they report on the girls who get raped! I heard a story of a girl who went into her local shops in her village after school and the shopowners quickly locked her in the shop and raped her repeatedly. When the mahala found out they burned the shop down.

Yea I remember when we went to Mohsin and Sons these annoying, fat ladies kept asking to see some clothes that we had asked to see. It was so frustrating. What is the rush? and the whole time their kids were left running around doing nothing. And its the same with the Churiyoon ki dukaan. All these girls just attack the counter and the only one who gets his/her own way is by screaming at the top of their lungs.

Even if internet shopping in Pakistan does hit it off and stuff still there are some things u just cannot shop online. There are disadvantages of shopping online as well.
