Yup plus you cannot touch and feel what kind of fabric or stuff it is. Sometimes they glamourise images and what the product actually is so different than what it is being shown on the website. This is why it is important to look and feel it in real before buying. Generic things like electronics etc are fine but not all things.
As a guy if I see a hot girl I'll give her a glance when she's not looking and thats about it. But the open rude shameful staring is the desi mentality. Sure gorays stare too, but the open rude staring only desis do it. Ive seen it in Pakistan whenever I go out with female relatives and here in England if I am with my female cousin. Its cringing. Though I didn't know about this 'touching' business though :-O

Luckily i havent been touched, but have been starred at. Thats so annoying and uncomfortable:grumpy:. I do wear decent clothes, no capris or slevless kameze. I dont even wear makeup and usually i use my dopatta to cover my head or infront.. … Still i get starred on

I go out dressed like a masi and I still get stared at. and its worse for my cousin because she is super white and has green eyes. So people just stop and stare!
Believe me, I dress like a 100% paindu from the pind. Pink Shalwar, black Kameez, Blue Dupatta, messed up hair, no make - up. Purely for the reason that people wont touch or stare. Doesnt stop them.
Also it depends where u r in Pakistan. We're based in Pindi/Islamabad but when I visited Lahore I didnt experience any kind of uncomfortable experiences whilst shopping.

I had a bad experience in Fortress-Lahore, was shopping with my cousins and also had an uncle with us. This pervert slyly brushed past me. I got so angry I wanted to slap him.

they do that in Lahore as well? because I didnt experience it. We were shopping in Liberty Market. I was only there for a day so I guess its not enough to really tell.
Although I do remember we went to Badshahi Masjid in Lahore and a group of guys saw all my cousins together and started singing disgusting Bollywood songs. Ullus! you'd think they would have some tameez being in a Masjid!!!! koi sharaam nahin!!!
Iam sorry but I think that newspaper article is just rubbish. Typical way of demeaning women in Pakistan. Why dont they report on the girls who get raped! I heard a story of a girl who went into her local shops in her village after school and the shopowners quickly locked her in the shop and raped her repeatedly. When the mahala found out they burned the shop down.
oh please. keep boys-girls fight out of it. Its a REALITY. Women/girls do this too. They have just started to report these incidents where culprits were women/girls. They used to only report where victim's were girls/women. victim is a victim no matter if its girl or boy.

I don't think women are to blame, why don't white people stare at goris in their skimpy clothing in the West? Whereas if a desi were to set eyes on a woman (especially a pretty girl in hijab) he starts scratching his balls in public too!! Is that some sort of mating ritual back home?

Jahalat is the biggest factor. now gorey loag are not saints. Most famous sentence of gora youth is "hey man checkout this girl" ..... They do this but in civilized manner. Dont count them out.

yea, gorays arent saints. I agree. In fact, if you see them when they are drunk then it's worse than what these perverts in Pakistan do. They touch openly in public.
The thing in Pakistan is the stares and the touching happens all the time. There is no end to it. I think its not only jahalat but its also because these people don't know any better. They don't know what people in the West behave because they've never lived there.
What's worse is that there is a Hadith which says that if a woman is dressed in all her adornments, no man should lift his eye and look at her. Yet the complete opposite happens in the Muslim world and people follow the Hadith in the Western world. Food for thought.

i have been touched on the thigh in gujranwala and the guy recived a a good telling off from me.....
i do get stared at but it doesnt happen that often in karachi, they are a bit more civilised there. whereas jhelum and lahore....... DEAR GOD!!

lol!! A guy did this in a market on one of my trips over there! I couldnt help it, I just broke down laughing and kept watching him to see what he'd do next! I said to my SIL "OMG!! Did you SEE that guy!! watch him, he's playing with himself!!" I think the guy actually got embarrassed because we treated him like he was a monkey in a zoo and providing entertainment.
