Burqa becomes focus of tense debate in Europe

Sikhs don't get offended if you call them Gyanni !!!!! One of India's president was Gyani Zial Singh !!!! But yes it is a bit "old fashioned" these days and just like calling a young muslim a "maulana" is going to generate a response from your muslim friend .....

I have never heard the term Dalits in Pakistan ever ----- it is a known fact the India still has the primitive caste system in effect!

Nuff said

I can live with that ----- the bottom line is that Hinduism does have a concept of infidels so it be HARIJANS, DALITS OR ACHOOT for that matter!

Nuff said!

Well I would like to disgree on that comment, that is not the philosophy of hinduism there is not concept of infidels (by infidels I mean, people who dont believe on hindu gods) in hindu religion. Hindus believe all gods are one, people pray and name god, as Allah, god, ram etc. If you have faith in God irrespective of your religion, you are not considered infidel, your are just non-hindu
According to hinduism all humans irrespective of what their religions will be reborn according to their karma.
People with good karma like Mother teresa will attain nirvana and poeple like Bal Thakray will be reborn as suffer in their next life or may be born not as human.

They are called schedule casts in Pakistan .... hope you have heard this term !!!

Perhaps you are getting confused by this concept of infidels or kaffirs ... you need to revisit the islamic text to understand what it means. As for Harijan, Dalits, Achoots they are very much part of Hindusim and not infidels or kaffirs !!!!

Yes, that is totally true that India has primitive caste system that again has been currupted with the passage of time.
It was the "varna" system, 4 pillars of the society. According to hinduism there are 4 pillars necessary for the sustainance of the society.
1. People who wud do day to day work, manual labor. (Shudras )
2. Business class or the enterprenuers that create jobs. (Vaishas)
3. people of provide free education, or explain God to masses, Brahmins.
4. Army that will protect the state(khastriyas)

People were free to decide based on their choice of karma what they want to do, whom they want to marry etc.

But with the passage of time, this became a water tight compartment system.

Even todays successful modern society is based on the same 4 pillars or varnas

  1. Enterpreurs
  2. Armed forces
  3. Universities 4 Working class.

If you look at the failed societies lets say somalia or afghanistan, on of the 4 varnas or pillars is missing.
In somalia or afghnista, univesities or the business classs is missing.
In USA govt does not kick out all the illegal mexican immigrants becoz if they do so there will be tremendous imbalance in the society, as there will be not one to cut the grass etc.

If caste system exists, it exists in all the societies irrespective of what their religion is, even in muslim societies people say, I belong to middle class family, he belongs to upper class family, she belongs to lower middle class family...even in islamic, hindu or christian societies caste system does exist.

Word caste is an english word it is not a sanskrit word or a hindu word.
It is currupted translation of the varnas that are explained in hindu society.

So, according to hinduism, lets say if you are a muslim/hindu/jew and you are a business man, your varna is Vaish.

If you are a muslim/hindu/jew and you have a job 9 to 5 your varna is shudra

and so forth

.... and if you spend time on social networking sites ... you are a kaffir !!!!

In every religion, there are so called intellectuals who claim to know the religion.

In hinduism there was manu who wrote manu smriti.
in same way there are these so called mullahs in Islam who claim to have knowledge of islam. One should not judge Islam, by the statements of some so called islamic intllectual in Egypt.

Then where do “ACHOOTS” come from?. I have discussed this topic in depth in one of my thread and if you like we can further discuss it in the following thread!!!

Nuff said!

Not really ! Harijans or dalits are still considered Hindus.

Even if their religion is not being violated, human rights and freedom of expression is most certainly being violated. You are in NO position to decide what is Islamic or not.

Have you every been to France? Obviously not, the French police has entire units of women police officers. Dealing with Burka clad woman or even asking burka clad woman to take off the burka in their presence would not be an issue.

There plenty of woman who choose to wear a burka just like they choose to wear a bikini, you have no authority to decide their choices.

Seriously we need more morons to parrot this line of thinking, the world will definitely be a better place after we put restrictions on women.

Till the time they adopt Budhism they are still considered Hindus.

They are part of Hinduism … not infedals or kaffirs … as for child slavery … as i pointed out last time , it is prevelant in Pakistan in higher percentage :k:

Re: Burqa becomes focus of tense debate in Europe

Coming back to the original topic, why dont posters who oppose the French law first get their governments to grant non-Muslims equal freedom ? Once you get that done, then we can talk about right of women to wear a burqa in France :hoonh:

Word Achoot is coined by the currupt brahmins it does not come from any hindu script. just like the word Jihad is currupted by every mullah in every nukkad, stating its duty of muslims to kill kaffirs babies in buses and trains or for that matter who killed shias in karachi. Further explanation is given in the above thread

I am most certainly in the position to decide what is Islamic or not. Because I am Muslim and knowledgeable about Islam.

As for freedom of expression, what if a person comes into a bank wearing a ski mask. When the guard at the bank asks him to take that ski mask off, is his freedom of expression being violated or are they making the bank safe by having him remove that mask?

There is no practical application for burka and thus I have no quams if the french have a law which forbids its use.

Dont like it, then leave France.

I have been to France 5 Times.

1990, 1993, 1996, 2000 and 2003.

French female police officers have other responsibilities dealing with domestic abuse, rape cases, sexual assault, etc, why burden them with this additional headache.

Burka is a security issue as well as a misogynistic symbol imposed by men over women.

If women want to wear a burka, then I suggest they stay indoors.

I mean what outdoor activities can women do with a burka?

If they step out, I like to see people's faces and know full well they are not a danger to society.

Re: Burqa becomes focus of tense debate in Europe

M2k who are you tell women what they can or can not do? You are just like those people who force women to wear Burqas. You give them no right to decide for themselves. You are just as bad as those **** ups.

lol...try saying that in pakistan
