Excellent news. Good to see the Brits take seriously our calls to arrest these terrorists.
Two ‘Baloch activists’ arrested in Britain
LONDON, Dec 6: British police have arrested two supporters of an outlawed separatist movement, a human rights campaigner said here on Thursday. Scotland Yard said the two men, aged 25 and 39, were detained in early morning raids on Tuesday in north and north-west London on suspicion of the “commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism”.
Activist Peter Tatchell said the pair were lawful supporters of the independence movement in Balochistan and feared they could be extradited to Pakistan to face a possible death sentence. He urged the British government not to give in to pressure from Pakistan because their extradition would result in their arrest, torture, imprisonment and possible execution. “The Pakistani authorities have repeatedly sought to frame peaceful nationalists and human rights campaigners, both inside Balochistan and abroad.” Mr Tatchell named the men as Faiz Mohammed Baloch — with whom he has worked on human rights campaigns — and Nawabzada Hyrbiyar Marri.
“These arrests are likely to have been at the request of the Pakistan government, which has long been seeking the extradition of Baloch nationalists exiled in London,” he added. Scotland Yard said the two men had not been arrested on extradition warrants and would not confirm their identities.** The arrests come less than one month after Pakistan began proceedings for the extradition to Britain of Rashid Rauf, a suspect in an alleged plot to blow up US-bound passenger planes**.—AFP

Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
Tell me when they arrest Altaf Hussain.
Imran Khan is on it. based on his initial claims it should have happened a few months ago. Either its taking UK time to sort through all the the stuff that was submitted, or as was stated earlier nothign was going to happen because he is part of the solution that US and UK are pressing for and MQM would align with PPP. and for that reason nothign is going to happen to him for now atleast. they can always leverage the evidence Imran has submitted to have Altaf do exactly what they want. Although I doubt Imran told them anything they did not know already.

Mr. Tatchell is absolutely right and I hope that instead of extraditng these peaceful Baloch nationalists, the British authorities will soon release them. The British Government has also an obligation to render these peaceful Baloch nationalists all necessary assistance needed to achieve their rights these peaceful people are struggling for.

BLA is as peaceful as the Taliban.
BLA unlike the Taliban have a valid reason for fighting the state...
Also, they are not a religous or theocratic movements, but rather a nationalistic movement in search of equal oppurtunity and the right to their own land...
