Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
if you read what he wrote you will see he wrote the keyword EQUAL OPPORTUNITY…something which balochistan is denied and has been denied since 1947.
to solve a problem you need to understand it from the other sides point of view. i am sure tha the baloch would not have wanted separation had they been given equal treatment.
to solve this baloch issue, the government should start investing in health and education as well as the promotion of the balochi language. this i am sure would solve alot of the problems.
Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
When PPP govnt was killing the Balochs it was ok because Balochs were traitors, but when Mush actually starts developing Balochistan, the BLA becomes a hero in the eyes of certain people. The desperation and hate for Musharraf does amazing things to otherwise normal people.
Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
And some people started supporting Musharraf all of a sudden when he formed an alliance with MQM and the strength intensified after May 2007, that is also quite ironic.
Re: British police arrest "Baloch Liberation Army" terrorists
BLA unlike the Taliban have a valid reason for fighting the state...
Also, they are not a religous or theocratic movements, but rather a nationalistic movement in search of equal oppurtunity and the right to their own land...
kewl ...so you think BLA is justified in killing the Innocent people?

It was never ok.. And I NEVER supported the Baloch cause.. Selective memory my friend...
Everyone here once supported Musharaf... Go back and check. Its only after is misrule, when his authoritarian dictatorship started to evolve that everyone turned against him...
And from what I remember, even you were pretty big opponent of Musharaf, but then changed your mind when suddenly the MQM were in bed with him.
But whether you want to admit it or not the Baloch cause is just.. .They have been deprived of their rights and they have every right to be fighting back. Maybe if Mush had shown some willingness to negotiate with them, seeing as how they are also Pakistani, they might not have resorted to this form of aggretion... But being the military man as always, he decided to try and crush them, and hence the current situation.

And someone made an about turn on Mush when he realized that MQM was part of the govnt.

I didn't support Mush unlike "everyone"...go back and check. He was a dictator before and is a dictator today. Nothing has changed except that the supporters of jihadis and feudals are feeling under pressure now.

That was 2002, get your facts straight. Should I dig up the thread where you said Musharraf looks like a clown? Hell you even said that the removal of the chief Justice was wrong until Altaf Bhai endorsed it.

I still think his method of removal was wrong. And like you said MQM has been a part of govnt for a long time and I was against that for a long time, while you all were cheerleading for Mush. This was before I realized the true extent of infiltration by jihadi terrorists and their supporters in the establishment. Mush and the other liek minded people are the only option for Pakistan to fight the jihadis, and that is the only reason I support him. He still looks like a clown, but unlike you I look at the idea not at the individual. Altaf, Mush, Ifti, Immi, BB, NS are all expendable. The ideals of a progressive Pakistan free from jihadi and feudal rule are not.
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
And what about bhatta collectors and criminals like MQM, you conveniently ignore them. And sure sure you got a revelation on May 07 about the extent of jihadi terrorists lol yeah right yeah right… Please post these things on the joke forum.
And btw, 99% of these jihadiz are musharrafs own topi drama to keep the west from blowing him up in a C130 or a learjet, now that hes getting one.

Yes, I know that.. I already mentioned that you never used to support this dictator...
Supporters of Jihadis and Feudals have gained strength under this guy... The MMA was put into poer by the Musharaf govt... The Taliban were allowed to grow right under the nose of Musharaf..
It took six months for him just to confront the Lal Msjid fantics, all the while they literally controled Islamabad, and had all the party heads kissing their feet.. He finally acted when they kidnapped Chinese people, Pakistanis who were humiliated were offcourse expendable, but when its the Chinese, suddenly Musharaf starts listening.
As for Feudals... The PML Q, is it not filled with these feudals? Musharaf has brought the same feudal lords back into power. Thats why there were absoultely no land reforms of any kind because the feudals still rule he roost in Musharafs Pakistan..
And Musharaf did one better, the one group that could have challenged the rise of Jihadis and feudals, the educated civil society, the lawyers, human rightrs people, media were all crushed...
So no, Musharaf has strengthened Jihadis, and strenghtend Feudals by destroying civil society.
And you forgot the military, which is part of this alliance. Musharaf has more then any other dictator, strengthend the hold of the Army on Pakistani society.
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
this jihadi bs crap dissapears when support is needed.. for instance, according to that guy MQM is a anti mollah party, but even if you leave aside their fascism, terrorism for a minute, just check this out for a minute:
Jamia Binoria throws weight behind MQM
Give the dog a bone and he shall do amazing tricks!
Re: British police arrest “Baloch Liberation Army” terrorists
A bad decision due to local politics. Jamia Binoria is trying to get recognized as a regular university which is why they are sucking up to whoever is in charge. See, unlike you I am not a blind supporter of one person or viewpoint.
