Re: Are you looking forward to Ramzaan or dreading it ?
Yes, Ireland. Allah taala balanced it out well. We don't have to put up with the roasting temperatures but we get longer rozas! :D
And yes, they think we're super humans to be able to do that but honestly it's OKAY! You eat to live, not the other way around. As long as you're eating twice in 24 hours, you'll b alright!
ok......so i know this paki guy who lives in dublin.......he said people there do iftari with beer instead of rooh afza.......that true??
Re: Are you looking forward to Ramzaan or dreading it ?

Re: Are you looking forward to Ramzaan or dreading it ?
I’m dreading it …
I’m looking forward to it only because of the fact that it’s a holy month .. I’m ready for the taraweeh’s the ibaadah and the overall amazing feeling of ramadan. BUT i am pregnant and I’m nauseous and cranky and tired all the time and I have a toddler who doesn’t sleep through the night. Waking up is not a problem for me but waking up to make sehri is exhausting me just thinking of it
And making pakoras and eggrolls and all that fried food for husband is making me loose my appetite already ![]()
Re: Are you looking forward to Ramzaan or dreading it ?
Nah, I’m too young to get married ![]()
And I only cry when I see bad spelling or jars of Nutella being wasted ![]()

Re: Are you looking forward to Ramzaan or dreading it ?
Offcourse I look forward to Ramzaan.
Its like a spiritual retreat and besides instills and re-enforces dicipline into my life, without such order I would be a monster of chaos.
Besides its a great Month so we should make the most of it. Look forward to seeing old friends at Taraweeh time. :D

pregnant women are NOT exempt...only the nursing mothers are but they have to complete it as soon as they can...ONLY medical conditions and/or extremely hard conditions or very old age and infirm health can exempt a person from skipping fasting in Ramadhan... :)
